The method includes determining, using a crankshaft sensor, an angular orientation of the crankshaft, the crankshaft being rotated by a starter motor prior to ignition of the engine; determining, using the crankshaft sensor, at least one engine speed variation as the crankshaft rotates through at least one measurement window; and identifying a working cycle phase of the crankshaft including in response to an absolute value of the at least one engine speed variation being above a threshold, determining that the crankshaft is in an ignition revolution of a two revolution working cycle of the engine in the measurement window, subsequent ignition of the engine being based on determination of the angular orientation and the working cycle phase of the crankshaft.

    摘要: The present invention provides, for example, an engine unit that is able to ensure an amount of power generation with a high efficiency even if the rotation speed of a crankshaft is lowered when a vehicle is stopped, without any need to increase the size of a generator. The engine unit includes: a four-stroke engine body; a generator; an inverter including a plurality of switching parts; and a control device. When the vehicle is stopped and a voltage outputted from the generator is lower than the voltage of a battery, the control device performs a vector control on the plurality of switching parts so as to raise the voltage outputted from the generator that is lower than the voltage of the battery to a voltage higher than the voltage of the battery, to charge the battery.

In the restart control (S41 to S43; S50 to S52), the controller (60) executes a start asynchronous injection control (S44 to S47) of making a fuel injector (18) perform asynchronous injection (S47) after beginning drive of the crankshaft (15) in a forward rotation direction by the rotating electrical machine (20).

    摘要: An engine is controlled in a normal mode or an idle stop mode. The ignition of a fuel-air mixture is performed in the normal mode, and the ignition of the fuel-air mixture is not performed in the idle stop mode. A detection subject that is rotated together with a crank shaft is provided at the crank shaft. At the time of the re-start of the engine, the ignition of the fuel-air mixture compressed in a first compression stroke is performed based on the detection of the detection subject by a reference angle sensor.     摘要: An apparatus for producing an ignition spark in an internal combustion engine. The apparatus comprises an inductive ignition device having a primary coil and a secondary coil, flow of current through the primary coil being controlled by an electronic switching element (e.g., a transistor) responsive to a triggering signal. A rotatable body (e.g., the engine flywheel) having detectable features on a periphery thereof is also provided. A sensor device is located adjacent to the rotatable body at a fixed position and is operative to produce an output in response to the detectable features. The apparatus also includes a controller operative to receive an output from the sensor device and responsively produce the triggering signal so as to have a selected dwell time and ignition position.
