    摘要: The present disclosure relates to an approach for a User Equipment (UE) to signal, via a first message in a Random Access Channel (RACH) procedure (e.g., Msg1 or MsgA), information that assists a network node in scheduling the remaining messages (e.g., Msg2 or MsgB) of the RACH procedure. More specifically, the UE may implicitly signal a preferred Synchronization Signal Block (SSB) for the second message by properly selecting one of predefined repetition patterns for the first message. Each of the predefined repetition patterns is configured to cause the UE to transmit the first message in a different repetitive manner and is associated with one of predefined SSBs or beams for the second message. After the network node receives the repetitions of the first message from the UE, it may determine which of the repetition patterns has been used by the UE and, consequently, determine the preferred SSB or beam for the second message as well as information which enhances the scheduling of the remaining messages (e.g., Msg2/Msg3/MsgB) on the network node side.
