摘要:
Phenol is di-orthoalkylated in high yield by reacting, in a first stage, phenol containing only 1 mole of an aluminum phenoxide for each 100-800 moles of phenol with an olefin at 85-175°C until the reaction mixture contains 3 wt percent or less phenol and then, in a second stage, continuing the reaction at 25-80°C until the mixture contains a substantial amount of 2,6-di-alkylphenol.
摘要:
A process of ortho-alkylating arylhydroxides, e.g., phenol, by passing a mixture of arylhydroxide, olefin and an inert hydrocarbon diluent in the liquid phase through a bed of activated alumina at an elevated temperature and pressure. Conversion and selectivity is improved over that obtained without the diluent.
摘要:
By flowing a gaseous stream containing methanol and a phenol through a fluidized bed of particles of a highly attrition resistant catalyst comprising 10 to 80% by weight of silica and 90 and 20% by weight of a metal oxide supported on the silica and have been calcined at 500 to 900°C, the ortho position of the phenol is methylated with high selectivity, whereby various useful ortho-methylated phenol derivatives can be advantageously obtained.
摘要:
A method for producing bisphenol A that can efficiently remove coloring components derived from a polycarbonate resin to enable production of bisphenol A having good color tone is provided. In the method of the present invention for producing bisphenol A, a solution H1 or a solution H2 is obtained from a crude solution A obtained by degrading a polycarbonate resin (PC) and distilling off a solvent in step A and part of a mother liquor D obtained in step D of step B to step E to produce bisphenol A (BPA) by dehydration condensation of acetone and phenol, and the solution H1 or the solution H2 obtained is supplied to the step B or the step C. The solution H1 is a solution containing BPA obtained by degrading BPA contained in the crude solution A and the mother liquor D into phenol and isopropenylphenol and then rebonding phenol and isopropenylphenol, and the solution H2 is a solution containing phenol obtained by degrading BPA contained in the crude solution A and the mother liquor D into phenol and acetone.
