Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Erfassung von fehlerbehafteten Warenaus- und -eingängen und ist einzusetzen bei der Erfassung und Abrechnung im Warenverkauf u. a. im Einzelhandel, Großhandel und in der industriellen Meßwerterfassung, vorzugsweise bei der Gewichtsdatenerfassung. Die Aufgabe besteht darin, ein Verfahren zu entwickeln, das eine selbständige Kontrolle der Warenausgabe unterstützt, das die Nichtbuchung oder Doppelbuchung von Waren erkennt, indem die erforderlichen Meßwertdaten, vorzugsweise Gewichtsdaten, die eichpflichtig und nicht eichpflichtig sein können, eichfähig erfaßt werden. Die Aufgabe wird dadurch gelöst, daß das Brutto-Gesamtgewicht aller Waren (1), die in einer Warenaufnahme-Einheit (3) zusammengestellt sind, vor/nach der Einzelaufnahme über eine Meßwertdatenermittlungseinrichtung (2) ermittelt wird, wobei die Einzelaufnahme der Waren (1), z. B. durch eine Scanner-Einheit (4), für die Preisbildung zur Abrechnung der Ware (1), zusätzlich eine Gewichtsermittlung über das Summengewicht über alle Waren (1), analog einem Summenpreis über alle Waren (1), durchführt, um anschließend das Brutto-Gesamtgewicht der Waren (1), das über die Meßwertdatenermittlungseinrichtung (2) ermittelt wurde, mit dem Summengewicht für alle Waren (1) zu vergleichen, wobei die Abweichung außerhalb der Toleranzbereiche Aufschluß über fehlerbehaftete oder nicht fehlerbehaftete Warenausgaben gibt. Die Meßwertdatenermittlungseinrichtung (2) kann eichfähig oder nicht eichfähig sein, wobei die Gewichtsdaten eichfähig erfaßt werden.
