    摘要: A method of monitoring item shuffling in a post-scan area of a self-service checkout terminal (10) having a post-scan shelf (42b), a bagwell (38) with a grocery container (40) positioned therein, and a weight scale (20) positioned so as to detect weight of items positioned both on the post-scan shelf (42b) and in the grocery container (40), includes the step of detecting removal of a first number of items from the post-scan shelf (42b) with the weight scale and generating a first weight decrease value in response thereto which corresponds to the weight of the first number of items. The method also includes the step of detecting placement of a second number of items into the grocery container (40) with the weight scale (20)and generating a first weight increase value in response thereto which corresponds to the weight of the second number of items. The method further includes the step of comparing the first weight decrease value to the first weight increase value and generating a first match control signal in response thereto if the first weight decrease value matches the first weight increase value.

    摘要: The invention concerns a method and a device for weighing and labelling packages of good s which consists in carrying each package to an electronic scale (1) wherein the load-receiving device is in the form of a conveyor belt (3). The conveyor belt (3) speed is higher while the goods are being brought or unloaded than during the weighing process. The package labelling is carried out on the conveyor belt (3), once the weighing process is over. Disturbances of the scale resulting from transport or from labelling are eliminated by means of a sufficiently large inert mass of the device receiving the load and by means of a low-pass filter arranged in the electronic evaluation circuit.

The apparatus is especially useful as an inventory control system for a bar.

    摘要: A label printing system includes an input device (1), a memory (2), a CRT display device (3), a printing mechanism (4), registration means (6) and label printing means (5). The input device, comprising manual data input means, enters label creation data and edits the data to provide label creation information.
