The invention relates to a device for the safe transfer of personnel or material from an object configured as a boat to an object moving relative thereto. The device comprises a dedicated loading or unloading device, a transfer element, and a regulating device for minimizing the relative movement of the transfer element relative to the other object. The loading or unloading device is configured as an industrial robot (4, 14, 34), and the robot arm thereof is configured as a support arm. For this purpose, the transfer element is attached to the free end of the support arm, or is configured such that it may be connected to the free end of the support arm.

An electrically driven fabric draw-off device (7) is disclosed which uses at least one electric motor (16) for driving at least one draw-off roller (13, 14, 15). The electric power is supplied via a rotary electrical interface which electrically connects the motor (16) on rotating frame (8) to the stationary electric supply (34). The rotational movement of frame (8) is caused by another electric motor (26) which is driven in response to a signal indicating the rotational movement of the cylinder (3) of knitting machine (1).

A stereoscopic display device comprises a transparent type display for alternately displaying left and right images, a backlight source for alternately emitting left and right group backlight projecting on a backside of the display, an optical means for directing the left and right group backlight towards a left image-viewing area and a right image-viewing area and a control unit for controlling the backlight emitting of the backlight source in synchronization with the displaying of the left and right images. The backlight source includes multiple right and left backlight strips arranged alternately in parallel, each two adjacent left and right backlight strips are combined as one backlight unit corresponding to one lens of the optical means. Therefore a stereoscopic image can be seen in a field out of a ghost double image area which is very small. Advantageously, the stereoscopic display of the present invention may be made with a thin and compact structure suitable for mobile equipment.

A flat screen assembly of the invention comprises a flat screen panel (P) and a stand device, where the stand device has a base means, a fixing means, a first support means and a second support means. The first support means comprises a support element, an outer washer (5) and an inner washer (6). In an assembled position, the fixing means is fixed to the base means, and the first support means is pivot-mounted to the fixing means, and the second support means is fixed to the first support means and to the flat screen panel (P). According to the invention a rotating partition (3) of the support element is pivot-mounted between the outer and inner washers (5, 6), which are fixed to the fixing means.

The disclosed embodiments relate to a system and method for increasing the brightness of a video image. More specifically, there is provided a video unit (10) comprising a color wheel (14), a light source (12) configured to project a light beam at the color wheel (14), and a video control system (18) coupled to the color wheel (14) and the light source (12) and configured to decrease a supply current level for the light source (12) below a first current level during a spoke time of the color wheel (14) and to increase the supply current level above the first current level during a non-spoke time of the wheel (14).
On production of insulation sheets, care must be taken to ensure the velocity of the processing gas remains low, as otherwise mixing within the still unhardened fibres or thickness differences can occur. The devices must be correspondingly large. According to the invention, said disadvantage is overcome, whereby the shaping of the fibres occurs in two stages (7, 8), each stage (7, 8) comprising gauging and fixing and the upper surface of the partly fixed fibres are smoothed between stages (7, 8).
