The sludge laying-out device (7) has a nozzle which can be moved transversely to the belt (8). The drying apparatus (9) can be supplied with combustion gases which are developed in the burning of the dried sludge in a furnace. With the method according to the invention, the sludge laying-out device (7) lays dewatered sludge on the belt (8) in a first part-process where hot gases having a temperature between 150 and 250 o C sweep the laid-out, string-formed sludge mass (74) on the belt (8), which ensures that the mass retains its string form and therewith its air permeability during the second part-process on an underlying belt (11).

An electrolyser module comprising a plurality of structural plates each having a sidewall extending between opposite end faces with a half cell chamber opening and at least two degassing chamber openings extending through the structural plate between the opposite end faces. The structural plates are arranged in face to face juxtaposition between opposite end plates. Each half cell chamber opening at least partially houses electrolytic half cell components comprising at least an electrode, a bipolar plate in electrical communication with the electrode and a membrane. The structural plates and half cell components define an array of series connected electrolytic cells surmounted by at least first and second degassing chambers having an upper section above a lower section. The structural plates define, at least when in face to face juxtaposition, respective gas-liquid passages extending between a top part of the half cell chambers and a bottom part of the upper section of the first and second degassing chambers to provide fluid communication between an anode part of the electrolytic cells and the first degassing chamber and between a cathode part of said electrolytic cells and said second degassing chamber. The structural plates further define, at least when in face to face juxtaposition, respective degassed liquid passages extending between a bottom part of the lower section of the first and second degassing chambers and a bottom part of the half cell chambers for degassed liquid return from the first and second degassing chambers respectively to the anode and cathode parts of the electrolytic cells. The electrolyser module further comprises respective gas discharge and feed water passages extending therethrough and fluidly communicating with the degassing chambers for gas discharge from the degassing chambers and for feed water introduction into the degassing chambers.

A sealed insulating glass unit comprising two glass panes (1) spaced apart by at least one spacer element (2) is provided with a lip sealing system including a gas impervious film strip (8), e.g. of metal or a laminate. The film strip (8) is connected to glass panes (1) and to the spacer element (2), respectively, by butyl-containing adhesive sealant (4). The invention also comprises a separate spacer element with lip seal or flexible gas sealing for an insulating glass unit. The strip (8) allows mutual angular and linear displacements of glass panes (1) and spacer element (2), thereby relieving the adhesive sealant (4) from mechanical loads to a great extent, consequently avoiding cracks in the sealant (4) without compromising sealing against moisture/gas exchange between the interior of the glass unit and the ambient atmosphere. Also, the sealing system provides possibility of increasing the gap (12) between pane (1) and spacer (2), possibly filling with a thermal insulating material (14) and thus improving the otherwise inferior thermal insulation of the edge of the glass unit.

By a method for emptying a vertical plate freezer (2), there is used an apparatus that can perform automatic emptying of the plate freezer. The apparatus runs on rails (5) along one side of the plate freezer and is constructed with a frame (6). On the frame (6) is suspended a cylinder (8) provided with a gripping member (11) and a conveyor belt (7) that may convey frozen blocks (1) transversely of the plate freezer (1). By means of the gripping member (11), each block (1) can be tilted over upon the conveyor belt (7), possibly assisted by drive rollers (12). Then the blocks can be conveyed via a guide down onto a conveyor (15). By the method according to the invention is achieved easy emptying of existing plate freezers with limited space along the other side of the plate freezer, where the frozen blocks (1) are not desired to be brought completely in level with the upper side of the freezer, and there is also achieved improved releasing of the blocks (1) from their supporting surfaces in the freezer (2).
