摘要: Embodiments of this application provide a network slice redirection method. The method includes: A radio access network RAN device receives a first message, where the first message includes identifiers of one or more first network slices, and the identifiers of the one or more first network slices are the same as identifiers that are of the one or more first network slices and that are included in a non-access stratum NAS request message sent by a terminal device to a core network CN device by using the RAN device; and the RAN device sends a second message including network slice redirection information to the terminal device, where the network slice redirection information includes at least one of network slice remapping information and terminal device redirection information, and the network slice redirection information is obtained after the RAN device performs network slice redirection decision-making on the one or more first network slices. According to the method, network slice access efficiency of the terminal device can be effectively improved.

摘要: This application provides a communication method and apparatus, and relates to the field of communication technologies. The method includes: A DU obtains resource occupation information of network slices that are in at least two PLMNs supported by a cell of the DU, where the network slices in the at least two PLMNs share a resource. The DU sends the resource occupation information to a CU. The CU receives the resource occupation information from the DU and uses the resource occupation information. In this way, resource leveling is implemented.

摘要: Embodiments of this application relate to a network slice multicast method and apparatus, to implement multicast at a network slice granularity. The network slice multicast method is: An access network device generates a first message; and the access network device sends the first message to user equipment UE, where the first message includes a network slice identifier and configuration information of a multicast traffic channel, and the network slice identifier corresponds to the multicast traffic channel.

摘要: This application provides an information transmission method and an apparatus. The method includes: A first network device receives an overheating message sent by a terminal device, where the overheating message includes overheating assistance information, and the overheating assistance information is used to indicate whether the terminal device is overheated; the first network device determines a second message based on the overheating assistance information, where the second message is used to indicate a second network device to adjust a communications parameter configured for the terminal device; and the first network device sends the second message to the second network device. When the terminal device is overheated, a secondary node can configure a proper communications parameter for the terminal device to resolve an overheating problem. After the overheating problem of the terminal device is resolved, a master node may further notify the secondary node that the overheating problem of the terminal device is resolved.

摘要: Embodiments of this application provide an RRC connection method, a device, and a system, to implement an RRC connection between a remote device and a base station. The method provided in this application includes: A first terminal generates a first RRC message; sends a first indication and first data to a second terminal through a wireless communications interface between the first terminal and the second terminal, where the first indication is used to indicate the second terminal to send the first RRC message to a radio access network device. The second terminal receives the first indication and the first data, where the first data includes the first RRC message. The second terminal sends, according to the first indication, second data including an identifier of the first terminal and the first RRC message. The radio access network device receives, from a wireless communications interface between the radio access network device and the second terminal, the second data sent by the second terminal, and generates a second RRC message corresponding to the first RRC message.

摘要: Embodiments of this application relate to the field of communications technologies, and disclose a communication method and an apparatus, to resolve a problem that an LTE base station cannot send an activation/deactivation indication to a terminal when a PDCP anchor is the LTE base station. The method includes: obtaining, by a first communications device, status information of a duplication operation of a radio bearer RB, where the status information of the duplication operation of the RB is used to represent activation/deactivation of the duplication operation of the RB, and the RB is an RB of a heterogeneous communications system; and sending, by the first communications device, the status information of the duplication operation of the RB to a second communications device, so that the second communications device generates an activation indication based on the status information of the duplication operation of the RB, and sends the activation indication to a terminal, where the activation indication is used to indicate the terminal to activate/deactivate the duplication operation of the RB.

摘要: This application relates to the field of wireless communications technologies, and in particular, to a terminal device, an access network device, an air interface configuration method, and a wireless communications system, so as to establish a connection between a terminal device and two radio access network devices. A second access network device includes: a processor, configured to determine air interface configuration information of an air interface between a terminal device and a radio access network; and a transmitter, configured to send a first air interface configuration message including the air interface configuration information to a first access network device that is in the radio access network and that uses a wireless communications standard different from that of the second access network device. The air interface includes a first air interface protocol layer between the terminal device and the first access network device and a second air interface protocol layer between the terminal device and the second access network device, where the second air interface protocol layer is above the first air interface protocol layer. The first air interface configuration message is a message of an air interface protocol layer that is in the second air interface protocol layer and that is used to configure an air interface. A solution for successfully establishing a connection between a terminal device and two radio access network devices is provided.
