The present invention provides a method for synchronizing topology information in an SFC network, and a routing network element. The SFC network includes at least two routing network elements, and the at least two routing network elements include at least one CF and at least one SFF. The method for synchronizing topology information in an SFC network includes the following steps: A first network element in the at least two routing network elements establishes a BGP connection to at least one second network element other than the first network element in the at least two routing network elements, where the first network element is any one of the at least two routing network elements; and the first network element sends a first BGP update message to the at least one second network element, where the first BGP update message includes topology information of the first network element, so that the at least one second network element obtains the topology information of the first network element.

Embodiments of the present invention provide a forwarding table generation method. The method includes: determining, by a forwarding device, a first timeslot set, where the first timeslot set includes multiple timeslots used when the forwarding device sends, to a first device by using a first flexible Ethernet group, multiple encoded data blocks generated by a physical coding sublayer; determining, by the forwarding device, a second timeslot set, where the second timeslot set includes multiple timeslots used when the forwarding device receives, by using a second FlexE group, the multiple encoded data blocks sent by a second device; and generating, by the forwarding device, a forwarding table, where the forwarding table includes a mapping relationship between the second FlexE group and the multiple timeslots included in the second timeslot set, and between the first FlexE group and the multiple timeslots included in the first timeslot set. According to the forwarding table generation method in the embodiments of the present invention, a FlexE client is forwarded by using a generated forwarding table, so as to reduce a transmission delay, and improve transmission efficiency.

The present invention discloses a path request method. The method includes: receiving, by a stateful path computation element Stateful PCE, a path computation request message sent by a path computation client PCC, where the path computation request message includes first attribute information, and the first attribute information is used to designate an acquisition manner of a path requested by the PCC; acquiring, by the Stateful PCE, information of a path that conforms to a request of the PCC according to the first attribute information; and sending a path computation reply message to the PCC, where the path computation reply message includes the information of the path that conforms to the request of the PCC. Embodiments of the present invention also provide a stateful path computation element and a path computation client. The embodiments of the present invention are used to solve a technical problem of inflexible routing technology method in the prior art, which limits network scalability.

Embodiments of the present invention disclose a packet processing method, device, and system. The system includes: a controller, configured to: allocate a service label to a service processing manner of an FEC, establish a mapping relationship between the service label and the service processing manner, send the service label to a source node, and send the mapping relationship to a destination node; the source node, configured to: receive the service label sent by the controller, receive a first packet, insert the service label to the first packet to obtain a second packet, and send the second packet to the destination node; the destination node, configured to: receive the mapping relationship sent by the controller, receive the second packet sent by the source node, and pop the service label from the second packet according to the mapping relationship, to obtain the first packet. The service label is used for instructing, in a process of forwarding the second packet from the source node to the destination node, a network device that needs to perform service processing on the second packet to process the second packet in the service processing manner.

The present invention provides a method and an apparatus for abstracting logical topology information of a Peer-to-Peer (P2P) network. The method includes: obtaining a set of Points of Presence (POPs) of peer clients in the P2P network; using a relevant algorithm of a routing protocol in the P2P network to calculate a best path between any two POPs in the set of POPs and a weight value of the best path; and collecting calculation results of the best path and the weight value that are obtained on each POP to obtain a set of abstract logical topology records of the P2P network. The embodiments of the present invention provide a universal and efficient method for abstracting logical topology information, which greatly reduces network topology information that needs to be transmitted, mitigates a risk of exposing lower-layer network topology information, and transmits the network topology information to a P2P application server securely and concisely.
