摘要:
The invention provides a method for treating inflammation caused by the non-specific defense system of a mammalian subject. Inflammation is treated by providing the subject with an anti-inflammatory agent capable of inhibiting granulocyte-endothelial cell adhesion.

Provided herein are methods for producing site specific PEG modifications to single domain antibodies (e.g., VHHs). Methods for producing site-specific ally conjugated bivalent single domain antibodies (e.g., VHHs) are also provided. Methods for labeling (e.g., with a fluorophore or radionuclide) site-specifically PEGylated single domain antibodies and site-specifically conjugated bivalent single domain antibodies are also provided.

The present invention concerns methods of diagnosing and treating a malignant neoplasm of the CNS by detecting mammalian tissue expressing integrin alpha 10 subunit or a fragment or variant thereof, and administering a drug specific for integrin alpha 10 subunit.
摘要:
The present invention provides methods for the identification of an antigen receptor (e.g., an antibody) that specifically binds to an antigen of interest. Generally, this involves contacting a plurality of antigen receptor-expressing cells with an antigen of interest; measuring the level of activated adhesion molecules on the surface of the antigen receptor- expressing cells; and, identifying from the plurality of antigen receptor-expressing cells an antigen receptor-expressing cell that exhibits an increased amount of activated adhesion molecules on the cell surface.
摘要:
The CD40L/Mac-1 interaction is selectively targeted by small peptide inhibitors and/or antibodies and such peptides are used for the specific treatment of inflammation and atherogenesis. In particular, pharmaceutical compositions comprising a polypeptide having the amino acid sequence EQLKKSKTL and antibodies specifically binding to an epitope are disclosed.

The present disclosure provides modified antibodies which contain an antibody or antibody fragment (AB) modified with a masking moiety (MM). Such modified antibodies can be further coupled to a cleavable moiety (CM), resulting in activatable antibodies (AAs), wherein the CM is capable of being cleaved, reduced, photolysed, or otherwise modified. AAs can exhibit an activatable conformation such that the AB is more accessible to a target after, for example, removal of the MM by cleavage, reduction, or photolysis of the CM in the presence of an agent capable of cleaving, reducing, or photo lysing the CM. The disclosure further provides methods of making and using such modified antibodies and activatable antibodies.

The present invention relates to compositions and methods for treating inflammation-associated tissue damage, and particularly transfusion-associated, disorders, by inhibiting or reducing E-selectin mediated signal transduction pathways, such as E-selectin mediated activation of αMβ2.
