The heat and light emitting device is in a form of a heat lamp or in a form of an oval, square, rectangle or other geometric shape. A surface of the device or a component thereof are optionally coated with a coating composition.

A boom assembly (10) is configured to movably secure equipment (20) to a ceiling (12) or plenum (24) extending from the ceiling (12). The assembly (10) may include an arm sub-assembly (18) secured to the ceiling, equipment (20) secured to an end of the arm sub-assembly (18), and an air delivery member (62) extending through the arm sub-assembly (18). The air delivery member (62) may include a first end in communication with an air delivery chamber within the ceiling (12) or plenum (24), and a second end in communication with air passages (64) formed through the equipment (20). Airflow is directed from the air delivery chamber out through the air passages (64) formed through the equipment towards a target location.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Decken-Beleuchtungsanordnung. Diese umfasst mindestens einen Kanal (01) sowie mindestens ein Flächenbeleuchtungselement, welches an mindestens einer Seite an dem Kanal (01) angebracht ist und mindestens eine Diffusorfläche (02) besitzt. Das Flächenbeleuchtungselement umfasst vorzugsweise eine Lichtquellenfläche (26) mit zahlreichen Licht-Emitter-Dioden (27), welche in Richtung zum auszuleuchtenden Raum von einer transparenten Diffusorfläche (02) überdeckt ist. Der Kanal (01) umfasst vorzugsweise ein U-förmiges Gehäuse mit einer zum auszuleuchtenden Raum offenen Unterseite, wobei in dem Gehäuse eine Vielzahl aneinandergereihter Licht-Emitter-Dioden (07) auf einem Träger (06) angeordnet sind.

A lighting arrangement (14) is provided on each corner of the housing (10) of a ventilation arrangement. Each lighting arrangement 14 comprises a profiled rod (16) of acrylic material with a plurality of LED's shining downwardly into an upper end of the rod (16), with light being reflected outwardly, and particularly by bubbles (18) within the rod (16). A reflective plate (26) is provided at a lower end of the rod (16) to reflect light back up the rod (16).

A ventilating system for a building comprises a first sub-system (4) of ducts for the supply of air by way of a first plurality of supply cowls (7) to interior parts of the building, a second sub-system (5) of ducts for the exhaust of air by way of a second plurality of exhaust cowls (8) from the interior parts of the building, and a heat exchanger (9) in which heat in air in the second sub-system is transferred to air in the first sub-system. At least some of the exhaust cowls (8) each define a respective passageway (19) for air out of a respective interior space and include a respective heater (20) for directing radiant heat towards the said respective interior space.

This invention relates to a ceiling element (1) comprising: an inlet (4) for receiving an air flow; an air supply opening (3) for supplying an air flow into a space; temperature control means (13 to 15) for changing the temperature of the air flow flowing from the inlet (4) to the air supply opening (3); and at least one light source (6) for illuminating the surroundings of the ceiling element (1). In order for the ceiling element to be able to utilize light sources whose electric energy consumption is as low as possible, the ceiling element (1) comprises a nozzle (10) for generating a cooling flow to said at least one light source (6) by utilizing the air flow received from the inlet (4).

Mit der vorliegenden Erfindung wird eine Vorrichtung (1) bereitgestellt, die zu Beleuchtungs- und Belüftungszwecken eines Raumes dient. Die Vorrichtung (1) besteht aus einem vorzugsweise quadratischen Rahmen (10), in dessen Mitte eine Klimaleuchte (2) angeordnet ist, die von einer Frontplatte (7) umgeben ist. Die Frontplatte (7) weist Durchbrüche (8) auf, durch die die.Zuluft hindurchtritt. Die Abluft wird durch die Klimaleuchte (2) geführt. Mit Hilfe eines von außen zu bedienenden Stellhebels (16) wird die Richtung des Zuluftstroms eingestellt. Das Einlegelement (1) ist in eine Rahmenkonstruktion einer abgehängten Decke (15) eingehängt.
