Abstract:
Abstract:
The present invention concerns an orientable lighting unit (1) which comprises a frame (2), configured to be mounted to a ceiling and/or a false ceiling, said frame (2) defining a window (6) facing an area to be illuminated, a lighting unit (7) connected to the frame (2) and adapted to be oriented relative to the frame (2), said lighting unit (7) being at least partially inserted in said window (6); a cover element (11) lying over said window (6) and having an opening (12) with an edge (12a), said edge (12a) surrounding said lighting unit (7) and contacting said lighting unit (7), said opening (12) being allowed to move in said window (6) to afford orientation of said lighting unit (7); a pair of uprights (10), said opening (12) and said lighting unit (7) being disposed between said uprights (10), said lighting unit (7) being further connected and adapted to be tilted relative to said uprights (10). The device is characterized in that the cover element (11) is disposed between said uprights (10), said cover element (11) comprising a pair of half-parts (13) which are connected to and adapted to be moved toward and away from each other.
Abstract:
Some embodiments of the present fixtures include a mechanical actuator configured to direct movement of a light mount along an arcuate path defined by arcuate bearing surface(s). Some embodiments of the present fixtures include a rotatable portion coupled to a stationary portion at an interface that is at least partially defined by smooth surface(s). Some embodiments of the present mounts include a base having a sidewall that defines an outer perimeter and mounting tab(s), each movable between a deployed state and a retracted state in which at least a portion of the mounting tab is disposed within the outer perimeter. Some embodiments of the present removable shroud assemblies include a lens coupled to a second end of a shroud and movable from a first position to a second position in which a portion of the lens is not in contact with the second end of the shroud.
Abstract:
A lamp, suitable to be mounted on a lamp attachment such as a ceiling, comprises a retention unit suitable for fixing the lamp to the lamp attachment, an adjustment element used for adjusting the projecting direction of light beams emitted by a light emitting element disposed at the lamp, a heat dissipation element for dissipating heat, and a heat resistant unit resisting high temperature and difficult to melt. The lamp further comprises a fireproof unit used for reducing the spreading speed of a fire caused by a fire disaster spreading to the outside of the lamp.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a recessed ceiling lamp for installing in an installation opening of a suspended ceiling (1) having a lamp housing (2), a light outlet opening, and an air passage element (4) arranged laterally adjacent to the light outlet opening, which air passage element has at least one air passage opening (41), wherein the lamp is designed in such a way that, in the installed state, air from a first room region ( R1 ) below the suspended ceiling (1) can flow through the at least one air passage opening (41) into a second room region ( R2 ), which extends above the suspended ceiling (1) adjacently to the lamp housing (2).
Abstract:
Provided is a system for attachment to a lighting fixture including lens components within a recess of a substantially flat surface. The system includes a tension mechanism configured for rotatable movement in response to an applied force. The system also includes a tether configured to provide the applied force and facilitate movement of the tension mechanism from a minimum tension position to a maximum tension position. The tether attaches to the tension mechanism and is assessable at a positon approximate to the lens components of the lighting fixture. Also provided is a method for mounting the lighting fixture using the tension mechanism engaged by the tether.
