    摘要: The present invention concerns a method and system for applying decorative tape to a glass pane (16). The disclosed system (10) and method allow tape segments that are shorter than a distance between a cutter and a glass engagement position to be applied by an application head to the glass pane (16). The system (10) includes the application head, a tape supply (40), a drive roller (50), a cutter (94,96), and a controller (44). The application head applies tape segments cut from the tape supply to the glass pane. The drive roller (50) advances the tape dispensed by the application head. The cutter (94,96) cuts end portions of each tape segment. The controller (44) is programmed to sort moves of the application head, tape supply, drive roller, and cutter to allow tape segments that are shorter than a distance between the cutter and the glass engagement position to be applied to the glass pane.

    摘要: A method of and apparatus for making a three-dimensional object (2) made of a plurality of performed sheets (3), one atop the other. The method includes coating one side of one sheet (3) with adhesive using applicator (20), coating the adhesive with a release agent using applicator (22), bonding the opposite side of twice coating sheet (3) to a sheet (3) thereunder using adhesive on the surface of sheet (3) thereunder, and cutting twice coated sheet (3) using cutter (30). These steps are repeated until the desired number of sheets (3) is provided in a stack. The release agent is coated only in those areas of sheets (3) which will not be part of object (2), and cutting of each sheet (3) is along a contour corresponding to the contour of the same respective layer in object (2). After the steps have stopped, portion of the stack where the release layer is present and which is not part of object (2) is removed from the stack to give object (2).

    摘要: The invention relates to a device for applying an elastoplastic spacer tape (1, 1') as a spacer during production of insulating glass panes, comprising at least two supply reels (2) for spacer tapes (1, 1'), several driven tape-guiding rollers (4, 6, 7, 8), and a movable application head (20) for the selected spacer tape (1, 1'), by means of which application head the spacer tape (1 or 1') is pressed onto a glass pane (40). A coating station (10) having two coating nozzles (11, 12) is provided for coating the one or the other spacer tape (1, 1'), wherein adhesive (butyl rubber) is sprayed onto the lateral surfaces of the selected spacer tape (1, 11). In the application head (20), each unneeded spacer tape (1 or 1') is stopped so that the one or the other spacer tape (1, 1'), depending on which spacer tape (1, 1') is needed for the production of a specific insulating glass pane, is applied to the glass pane (40). Thus, it is not necessary to laboriously thread and unthread spacer tapes (1, 1') into the device, and time is saved.

    摘要: An adhesive-tape cutter has superposed portion-forming means, and the means has an adhesive surface side member provided on the adhesive surface side of adhesive tape and a non-adhesive surface side member provided on the non-adhesive surface side of the tape. When the tape is inserted through and pulled out from between both members while it is pressed to be in contact with the members, a superposed portion of a non-adhesive portion is formed on the tape. The superposed portion is a portion where a side edge of the tape is folded back with a predetermined width to the adhesive surface side along a side portion in the length direction of the tape. The non-adhesive surface side member of the superposed portion-forming means is supported by an opening/closing member. The opening/closing member is provided so as to be movable for opening/closing, between a close position where the non-adhesive surface side member is pressed to be in contact with the inserted tape and an open position where the member is not pressed to be in contact with the inserted tape. At the open position, the non-adhesive surface side member is separated from the adhesive surface side member to open an insertion path for the tape. The structure above enables the non-adhesive portion-forming function to be easily switched on and off and facilitates insertion and installation of the tape.
