Die Halteplatten (85) sind mit Hilfe einer Schwenkvorrichtung (86, 87, 108) um eine symmetrisch liegende horizontale Achse (L3) um 180° drehbar. Nach dem Auflegen der Werkstückoberteile auf die Halteplatten (85) wird auf die Ränder der Werkstückoberteile Klebstoff aufgetragen, worauf die Halteplatten (85) um 180° gedreht werden. Anschließend sammelt die Trägerplatte (119) die jetzt unten hängenden Werkstückoberteile ein, während gleichzeitig die nächsten Werkstückoberteile auf die obenliegenden Aufnahmeflächen der Halteplatten (85) aufgelegt werden können. Die Trägerplatte (119) und die Halteplatten (85) sind als ein- und abschaltbare Saugplatten ausgebildet.
