Abstract:
A mobile hide, mounted on a trailer, comprising: a housing, a driving means configured to alter a position of the housing between a lowered configuration and a raised configuration, a guide assembly configured to ensure a substantially vertical movement of the housing, characterized in that the hide (1, 1', 1", 1''') further comprises: at least two guide assemblies (6), each guide assembly (6) comprising at least two linear guides (9, 10); and a rope driving system comprising: a drive member (21, 21') mounted on the trailer (2); and pulleys (16, 17, 18, 19, 22) attached to the trailer (2) and to the linear guides (9, 10); wherein two of the pulleys (16, 17; 18, 19) are attached to a single linear guide (9, 10).
Abstract:
A sustained release pheromone carrier (10) is provided in which once it is secured to a branch or other support, the likelihood of falling off is significantly reduced, and which is capable of being quickly attached to a small or large branch. The sustained release pheromone carrier comprises a first sheet part (1) and a second sheet part (2) which are provided by bending a single polymer sheet so that they are arranged in a face-to-face manner, the sheet parts each having an engaging hole (7, 8) therethrough; a bend part (3s) located between the sheet parts; at least one sex pheromone substance that is carried on at least a part of the sheet parts; and slits (4) each extending from the bend part to the engaging hole in each one of the sheet parts. This carrier can be secured to the rod-shaped support by guiding the rod-shaped support to the engaging holes via the slits and engaging with the holes.
Abstract:
An automated system for mitigating risk from a wind turbine includes a plurality of optical imaging sensors. A controller receives and analyzes images from the optical imaging sensors to automatically send a signal to curtail operation of the wind turbine to a predetermined risk mitigating level when the controller determines from images received from the optical imaging sensors that an airborne animal is at risk from the wind turbine,
Abstract:
A system, comprising: a first pest control device group (30) including a plurality of wireless communication nodes (42), each of the wireless communication nodes (42) being provided with a corresponding pest sensor (46); and a first gateway (33) to receive sensor data from the corresponding sensor (46) of each of the wireless communication nodes (42), one or more of the wireless communication nodes (42) including a respective controller to execute operating logic to define a wireless communication network (36) between the wireless communication nodes (42), the wireless communication network (36) including a first subset of the wireless communication nodes (42) to relay sensor information to the first gateway (33) from a second subset of the wireless communication nodes (42), the second subset being different than the first subset.
Abstract:
A camping table (1), comprising: a plurality of interconnected sections (2) each having at least one substantially flat face, configurable between a usage position where the sections (2) are arranged side-to-side with the flat faces forming a substantially planar upper surface capable of supporting at least one item placed thereon, and a compact storage position. The table further comprising a support means (3) configured in use to support the sections (2) above ground level in the usage position. The support means (3) located in use at or towards opposed sides of the upper surface and further configured so that at least one of the opposed sides is suspendedly supported.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a mouth prop for animals, formed by two telescopically connected bodies which can be extended, but not bent. The free ends of the bodies are provided with supporting elements for retaining same in the animal's mouth. The bodies also include complementary racks which can be used to move the bodies in order to extend one body in relation to the other and which prevent bending. The lower end of the inner body is provided with a transverse pin, the ends of which are guided along longitudinal grooves provided on the side surface of the outer body. The bodies can have any polygonal profile.
