Ce mécanisme comporte un vérin (5) logé à la partie inférieure du mât (1) en étant solidaire d'une suspension (2) par rapport à laquelle le mât peut pivoter, l'extrémité de la tige étant attelée par un point d'ancrage aux parties fixes (6) situées au-dessous du mât. Application à un mât optronique ou à une antenne périscopique de veille de sous-marin.
