A connector for an RF antenna for coupling the RF antenna to a device is formed from a base. A collar is provided for receiving and coupling to an RF antenna. A coupling structure extends from the base and engages the device to facilitate coupling of the antenna to the device. An antenna system is also formed from an RF antenna and a device to which the RF antenna couples and for which the RF antenna is used. The antenna system further includes a connector formed from a base, a collar for receiving and coupling to the RF antenna and a coupling structure that extends from the base and engages the device to facilitate coupling of the antenna to the device.

Abstract:
In radio stations the antenna cables are subject to long-term degradation or failure due to electrical, mechanical and environmental stress. To avoid severe damage, which may result in a breakdown of the station, a monitoring of the antenna cables and/or antennas is desired. A U- link connector is provided for simple refurbishment of the radio stations by simple exchanging existing U- link connectors. The U- link connector comprises a bias tee circuit, by which a DC signal can be coupled into the antenna cable for a cable test, which may even be performed during operation of an attached transmitter.

An antenna feeding network (2) for a multi radiator antenna (1) is provided. The antenna feeding network comprises at least one coaxial line (20a, 20b). Each coaxial line comprises a central inner conductor (14a, 14b) and an elongated outer conductor (15a, 15b) surrounding the central inner conductor, wherein at least one of the outer conductors of the coaxial lines is provided with an opening (40), wherein the antenna feeding network further comprises at least one nonconductive holding element (8) configured to be placed in the opening. The holding element is configured to hold at least one of the inner conductors in position. The invention further relates to a multi radiator antenna (1) comprising such an antenna feeding network (2), and to a method for providing an electrical connection in such an antenna feeding network.
