Abstract:
There are provided a terminal device, a base station apparatus, a communication system, a communication control method, and an integrated circuit, in all of which efficient communication control is possible in communication that uses multiple cells. In communication that uses first RLC which corresponds to a first cell group which includes at least the primary cell, second RLC which corresponds to a second cell group which does not include the primary cell, and one PDCP which belongs to the first cell group which processes pieces of data on the first RLC and the second RLC, the terminal device releases the second RLC based on a list that includes identifiers of data radio bearers relating to the second RLC, which is received from the base station apparatus.
Abstract:
The present invention aims to provide a control apparatus, a communication system, a communication apparatus, a communication method, and a program capable of efficiently and equally allocating communication opportunities. A control apparatus (10) according to the present invention includes: a monitor unit (20) for monitoring statuses of connection of a plurality of communication apparatuses where a synchronous communication is limited to a network; a determination unit (30) for determining, upon receiving from a first communication apparatus included in the plurality of communication apparatuses a connection request message that requests a connection to the network, whether the first communication apparatus can be connected to the network according to the statuses of the connection of the plurality of communication apparatuses to the network; and a communication unit (40) for notifying, when it is determined in the determination unit (30) that the connection of the first communication apparatus to the network is unavailable, the first communication apparatus of a determination result indicating that the connection is unavailable and a timing at which the connection request message will be transmitted next time.
Abstract:
Apparatus and methods to communicate audio data from either an active wireless device or a requesting wireless device to one or more audio reproduction devices that are simultaneously communicatively coupled to both the active wireless device and to the requesting wireless device are disclosed. Responsive to a request from the requesting wireless device to transmit audio data to the one or more audio reproduction devices, the active wireless device determines whether to transmit audio data from the requesting wireless device based at least in part on an audio status of the active wireless device and a set of predetermined arbitration criteria that prioritizes among applications and operating system processes that generate the audio data.
Abstract:
A communication system operates in the first power state during a communication session. The system transitions from the first to a second power state, when a first predefined time period expires after transfer of a packet and before a transfer of a next packet, for any of and no more than a first N packets in the communication session. Alternatively or in addition, the system transitions from the first to the second power state when: (a) the first predefined time period expires after transfer of a packet and before transfer of a next packet in the communication session and (b) the size of each packet transferred thus far in the communication session is not greater than S.
Abstract:
A radio base station in a first mobile communication system is disclosed. The radio base station includes a radio communication unit; a network communication unit; and a determining unit. If a massage received by the network communication unit from a switching station indicates that a mobile station is requesting a service which is not provided in the first mobile communication system but which is provided in a second mobile communication system and it is determined by the determining unit that a handover to the second mobile communication system cannot be conducted, the network communication unit requests the switching station to release a connection with the mobile station. Then the radio communication unit reports to the mobile station that the connection should be released in accordance with an instruction from the switching station.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for changing a radio access technology (RAT) of a terminal in a wireless communication system. More specifically, the method according to the present invention comprises the steps of: transmitting user traffic session related information when a terminal perceives that a packet switched service will be discontinued while carrying out proximity service (ProSe); and changing, by a first terminal, to a target RAT, in which PS service is not supported.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a method and a device for improving lawful interception of a call is provided. The method comprises monitoring a telecommunication call of a lawful interception target subscriber. Then, the method comprises detecting a call-release trigger associated with the telecommunication call. Further, the method comprises initiating a media plane audit of the telecommunication call to determine whether the call-release trigger is a false release trigger. The media plane audit determines whether media plane resources for the telecommunication call is released in response to the call-release trigger. Additionally, the method includes performing at least one call handling action in response to determining a false release trigger.
Abstract:
Provided is a base station device in a radio communication system in which a communication device is capable of connecting to the base station device and a first other base station device simultaneously. The base station device receives, from the communication device, a notification indicating that a failure has occurred in a radio link between the communication device and the first other base station device, and upon receiving the notification, transmits a first message indicating the occurrence of the failure to the first other base station device. Upon receiving the first message, the first other base station device releases a connection between itself and the communication device.
Abstract:
The present invention is a mobile communication system having a mobile station UE, in which CA is performed, configured to transmit an uplink data signal to a radio base station eNB, by using a plurality of "Component Carriers" having different carrier frequencies, and the mobile communication system includes TA timer management units 13 and 23 configured to manage the TA timer corresponding to the plurality of "Component Carriers"; and state management units 14 and 24 configured to manage the state of the plurality of "Component Carriers", and the state management units 14 and 24 are configured to set the state of a "Component Carrier", whose TA timer has expired, to an asynchronous state.
