    摘要： A communication method and a communications apparatus are provided. In the method, in a process in which at least one quality of service flow is handed over from a first access network device to a second access network device, the first access network device sends first information to the second access network device, where the first information is used to indicate that the first access network device has notified a core network device that a quality of service requirement of the at least one quality of service flow cannot be met; and after receiving the first information sent by the first access network device, the second access network device may send second information to the core network device, where the second information is used to notify the core network device that a quality of service requirement of a first quality of service flow in the at least one quality of service flow can be met, and the first quality of service flow is a quality of service flow that has been handed over from the first access network device to the second access network device. In this way, notification control statuses that are of the quality of service flow and that are recorded on a core network side and on an access network side after a handover of the quality of service flow can be synchronized with each other as much as possible.

    摘要： Embodiments of the present invention relate to the field of mobile communications, and provide an IP address assignment apparatus, system, and method. The method includes: receiving, by a mobility management network element, a connection establishment request of a terminal; sending the connection establishment request to a packet data gateway; and assigning, by the packet data gateway, an IP address to the terminal according to a correspondence between user location information carried in the connection establishment request and an IP address pool. In the present invention, a problem in the background that when a packet data gateway randomly assigns an IP address to UE, an Internet operator cannot identify another characteristic of the UE according to the IP address of the UE is resolved, and effects that the packet data gateway can assign an IP address according to a location of a terminal, and different IP addresses are assigned at different regions are achieved.

    摘要： Setting up a group (push-to-talk, PTT) communication session requiring Quality of Service (QoS) resources at an access terminal, AT, within a wireless communications system by sending a first request (i.e. a bundled message including a ReservationOnRequest message, a data-over-signaling (DoS) message, a ConnectionRequest message and a RouteUpdate message, or a non-bundled ReservationOnRequest, RoR, message), within a second (visiting) serving area, to obtain traffic channel (TCH) and QoS resources for the group communication session, the first request based on a first access terminal identifier (UATI) that identifies the access terminal, AT, within a first serving area that is separate from the second serving area; determining that the TCH resources have been allocated to the AT and that the QoS resources have not been allocated to the AT; sending a second request, in response to the determining step and within the second (visiting) serving area, that requests the QoS resources for the group communication session, the second request based on a second access terminal identifier (second - new - UATI) that identifies the AT within the second serving area; and receiving an allocation of the requested QoS resources within the second serving area in response to the second request.
