Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention are an IP flow migration method, device and system. The method comprises: a policy and charging rule function (PCRF) entity obtaining trigger information, the trigger information comprising deleting information of an access network from a multi-access IP-CAN session; the PCRF entity determining whether to send instruction information to a policy and charging execution function (PCEF) entity according to the trigger information, the instruction information comprising instructing the PCEF entity to delete an access network from the multi-access IP-CAN session, such that the PCEF entity initiates a process of deleting an access network from the multi-access IP-CAN session. Thus, when a network policy is changed, or when a UE contract is changed, an access network may be deleted from the multi-access IP-CAN session. Therefore, the problem in which IP flow migration cannot be canceled when a network policy is changed, or when a UE contract is changed, can be prevented.
Abstract:
In a pairing establishment process, a controller (220) of a central (200) notifies a peripheral of the application identification information on the central (200). The controller (220) of the central (200) stores the device identification information on the peripheral received therefrom in a ROM (240). The application identification information is information to identify an application (that is, software) owned by the central (200). The application is to perform various communications with the peripheral.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a UE context management method executed at a user equipment (UE) and a related UE thereof. The method comprises: when the UE or a UE radio resource control (RRC) layer receives an RRC connection suspension message from an evolved NodeB (eNB) or the UE initiates an RRC connection suspend procedure, starting, by the UE or the UE RRC layer, a UE context management timer. The RRC connection suspension message or an RRC connection suspend procedure is used to suspend an RRC connection at the UE and store the UE context. The method further comprises: if the UE context management timer expires, discarding, by the UE or the UE RRC layer, the stored UE context.
Abstract:
Systems and methods relating to an unacknowledged connection release in a cellular communications network are disclosed. In some embodiments, a method of operation of a base station in a cellular communications network comprises sending a connection release message to a wireless device that is in an Out-of-Sync (OOS) state and releasing a connection with the wireless device without receiving, from the wireless device, an acknowledgement of receipt of the connection release message. In this manner, signaling overhead for releasing the connection of the wireless device that is in OOS state is substantially reduced.
Abstract:
An RRC connection release method, apparatus, and device are provided. The method includes: sending, by UE, a first message to a base station, where the first message carries a preset RRC release time determining parameter or a first RRC release time; if the UE adds the first RRC release time to the first message, setting, by the UE, timing duration of a first timer based on the first RRC release time, and starting the first timer; or if the UE adds the preset RRC release time determining parameter to the first message, receiving, by the UE, a response message fed back by the base station for the first message, where the response message carries a second RRC release time determined by the base station based on the preset RRC release time determining parameter, setting, by the UE, timing duration of the first timer based on the second RRC release time, and starting the first timer; and releasing, by the UE, an RRC connection when the first timer expires. This greatly reduces signaling overheads in an RRC release process.
Abstract:
Uplink data is transmitted efficiently. A terminal device is configured to, in a case that a difference between an uplink transmission timing in a Primary Timing Advance Group of a master cell group and an uplink transmission timing in a Primary Secondary Timing Advance Group of a secondary cell group exceeds a maximum transmission timing difference, consider that a timer for the Primary Secondary Timing Advance Group of the secondary cell group has expired and clear a configured uplink grant.
Abstract:
The definition and use of an additional timer for the MAC-hs reordering function in a user equipment. The timer counts transmission time intervals and is reset each time that the user equipment receives a data packet. If the timer reaches a set value, indicating a sufficiently long period of inactivity, then the transmission sequence number is reset to zero or another predefined value. A base station can run a similar timer and, after the timer reaches a set value, can consider the user equipment as no longer being active.
Abstract:
Provided are a delinking method implemented by a remote UE in a wireless communication system, and a device using said method. The method is characterized by: receiving a disconnect message for disconnecting a link between a relay UE and the remote UE; disconnecting the link on the basis of the disconnect message; and not attempting to establish a link between the remote UE and the relay UE in a UE-specified time section.
Abstract:
Techniques are described for selected internet protocol traffic offload (SIPTO) support at an assisting eNodeB. A request to establish a bearer for a UE is received and it is determined whether the request is associated with a SIPTO packet data network (PDN) connection for the UE at a second eNodeB. The bearer may be established by communicating with the second eNodeB in response to the determination that the request is associated with the SIPTO PDN connection for the UE at the second eNodeB and a radio bearer corresponding to the SIPTO PDN connection may be established with the UE
Abstract:
A controller arrangement comprising a transceiver capable of communication via a wireless communication network, a controller arranged to control a physical entity at which the controller arrangement is arranged, and an interface between the transceiver and the controller is disclosed. The transceiver is arranged to provide information via the interface about present or imminent interrupts in the communication via the wireless network. The controller is arranged to operate in at least a first state when the information indicates that no interrupts are present or imminent, wherein the first state includes closed loop control from a remote entity via the wireless communication network, and a second state when the information indicates that interrupts are present or imminent, wherein the second state includes autonomous control operations by the controller. A method and computer program are also disclosed.
