    摘要: Kuvertiermaschinen haben mehrere Systemkanäle, um Dokumente (1, 2) zu lesen, zu sammeln, eventuell zu falzen und zuzuführen. Derjenige Systemkanal (3, 4), der das Dokument (1, 2) mit dem Adreßfeld zuführt, ist der führende Kanal. Auf das Dokument (1, 2) mit dem Adreßfeld werden die weiteren Dokumente (1, 2) gestapelt. Die Funktion der Systemkanäle (3, 4) ist vorgegeben und kann nur durch einen aufwendigen Umbau der Kuvertiermaschine geändert werden. Damit die Systemkanäle (3, 4) unterschiedliche Funktionen übernehmen können, sind die Systemkanäle (3, 4) so umschaltbar, daß der andere Systemkanal (4) zur Zuführung des ersten Mediums (1) eingesetzt werden kann. Aufgrund der Umschaltung muß die Positionierung der Systemkanäle (3, 4) innerhalb der Kuvertiermaschine nicht geändert werden. Dadurch kann der führende Kanal (3, 4) je nach den Anforderungen innerhalb der Kuvertiermaschine ausgewählt werden. Mit der Kuvertiermaschine werden vorteilhaft Einlagen gestapelt, die einkuvertiert werden sollen.
