A message output by an external system (125) for communication to a Foundation Fieldbus linking device (115) may be received (705) by a gateway device (105). The linking device (115) may be identified by a virtual address included in the received message. The gateway device (105) may determine (715) whether the message includes a command to write data to the linking device (115) or a Foundation Fieldbus device (120) connected to the linking device (115). If it is determined that the message does not include a command to write data, then the gateway device (105) may direct (725) communication of the message to the linking device (115). If, however, it is determined that the message includes a command to write data, the gateway device (105) may generate (720) an exception for preventing the requested write operation.

    摘要: A thermoplastic composition comprises a resin composition comprising a polycarbonate having a weight averaged molecular weight of greater than or equal to 30,000 as measured using gel permeation chromatography, a polysiloxane- polycarbonate comprising 1 to 50 weight percent of siloxane units; and a SAN copolymer, wherein the amounts of polycarbonate, polysiloxane-polycarbonate, and SAN copolymer are selected such that fatigue failure for the thermoplastic composition occurs at greater than or equal to 70,000 cycles at a pressure of 28.2 MPa and a frequency of 5 Hz according to ASTM D638-O3 type I, and the viscosity of the thermoplastic composition is less than or equal to 112 Pa-s when measured at a shear rate of 6,000 sec'1 and at 300 0C according to ASTM D4440-01. A method of making the thermoplastic is also disclosed.

    摘要: A high flow polyester composition is disclosed, which comprises at least one polyester and at least one flow enhancing ingredient of structure I (see Formula I) where, R1 = NH2 or CH2OH; R2= CH3, CH3CH2 or CH2OH or any of Cl- C20 alkyl group which may have one or more hydroxy group substituent, C3-C20 cycloalkyl group, C6-C20 aryl group, C1-C20 alkoxy group which may have one or more hydroxy group substituent or C6-C20 aryloxy group. A good balance of flowability and mechanical properties is obtained by controlling the amount of the said flow-enhancing ingredient. The composition further comprises reinforcing fillers, impact modifiers, a property-enhancing thermoplastic such as polycarbonate and flame retardant chemicals. The compositions are suitable for making automotive, electric and electronic parts.
