摘要: An occupant restraining device 10, in which stress applied to a stitch section of a sewn bag can be dispersed at the time of inflation of the bag, includes an inflatable bag 12 disposed above a seat pan 8 and capable of pushing a front portion of a seat cushion from below, and an inflator (gas generator) 13 for inflating the bag 12. Weave directions of panels 16 and 17 are biased with respect to longitudinal stitch lines 20N by about 45°. Accordingly, stress applied to a stitch section by the lines 20N can be dispersed at the time of inflation of the bag 12.

摘要: An occupant restraint device having a high degree of freedom in attachment of an airbag is provided. A retainer 16 is applied to the inner surface of a lower portion of an airbag 12. A stub bolt 20 projecting downward from the lower surface of the retainer 16 is inserted in a bolt insertion hole 12a of the airbag 12, and a first nut 24 is screwed on the stud bolt 20 via a backing plate 22 from outside the airbag 12. Thereby, the airbag 12 is connected to the retainer 16. A gas generator 14 is connected to the retainer 16 by a bracket 30. The stud bolt 20 is disposed on the rear side from a center line of the airbag 12.

摘要: An occupant restraint system in which a seat bag and an air belt are inflated by a common inflator and of which the structure can be simplified. The occupant restraint system comprises an inflatable seat bag (20) disposed at the front lower side of a seat cushion and an air belt (30) having an inflatable wrap bag (34) pulled and put onto the front side of an occupant. An inflator (40) is installed in the seat bag (20). One end of a pipe (50) is connected to the seat bag (20), and the other end of the pipe (50) is connected to the air belt (30). When the inflator (40) starts to jet out a gas, the gas is fed from the inflator (40) into the seat bag (20), and then, the gas in the seat bag (20) flows into the wrap bag (34) through the pipe (50).

摘要: A passenger leg portion constraining apparatus having a cover cloth for preventing interference between an inflated and deployed airbag and attached keys in a space below a steering column (steering column cover) is configured to allow the cover cloth to protrude quickly upwardly of the airbag. A key apparatus 4 is provided on the right side surface of the steering column cover 2. An attached key 6 is attached to a key 5 inserted into the key apparatus 4 in an suspended manner. The airbag 12 is provided with the cover cloth 14 protruding upward from the upper end portion of the right side portion of the airbag 12 to be interposed between the airbag 12 and the key apparatus 4 when the airbag 12 is inflated. A protruding portion 14a which protrudes sideward from a vertically midsection of the side of the cover cloth 14 is provided, and the vertically midsection of the cover cloth 14 is connected to the upper end portion of the airbag 12 via the protruding portion 14a.

摘要: Anchor device for seat belts, which is capable of greatly widening the range of regulation of the height of a slip anchor, designing a slide anchor of small weight and reducing the weight and dimensions of the anchor device. A slide anchor (19) is fixed to an elongated rail member (11) attached to a chassis-fixing portion so that the height of the slide anchor (19) can be regulated in the lengthwise direction thereof. Anchor bolt (25) projecting into the interior of a vehicle body is secured to the slide anchor (19), and a slip anchor (23) supporting an intermediate portion of a seat belt (80) is rotatably supported on the anchor bolt (25). A locking pin (27) is withdrawably passed through a bore (26) made through the anchor bolt (25), and a plurality of locking holes (12) are provided in the portions of the rail member (11) which are opposed to an end of the locking pin (27) so that the locking holes (12) are aligned in the lengthwise direction of the rail member (11). A spring (30) urging the locking pin (27) in the direction in which the end portion of the locking pin (27) is fitted in a locking hole (12) is provided thereon, and an operating portion (31) for withdrawing the locking pin (27) from a locking hole (12) is provided on the head portion thereof.
