The invention relates to light industry and can be used for processing previously used textile articles, in particular second-hand articles. Textile waste is selected and materials suitable for secondary use are chosen therefrom. As materials suitable for secondary use there are selected textile articles of one type, the selection being carried out in an amount suitable for industrial processing. The aforementioned textile articles contain at least one standard composite element suitable for forming an overlay and in accordance with which a pattern cutting card is created. An overlay of the standard composite element is formed in accordance with the card, at least one pattern of the article being manufactured is selected for the overlay according to the pattern cutting card, the pattern is positioned on the upper layer of the overlay and the overlay is then cut out so as to obtain the parts of the article being manufactured. The technical result is a reduction in the amount of secondary textile waste sent for disposal or subjected to chemical, thermal and other types of processing, a reduction in labour costs, and achievement of a high productivity.

The image in which the face and back are inverted and an image in which the face and back are not inverted are displayed in parallel on a monitor 8 such that one of the images is changed when the design of the other image is changed. The tubular fabric 44 can be simulated by inverting its face and back, and consequently the design on the inside of a tube can be confirmed.

Der Fräser tritt durch eine Bohrung (31) einer Platte (29) hindurch, deren unterer Rand (36) als Scherkante ausgebildet ist, welche die Erzielung sauberer Schnittkonturen unterstützt. Bei Verwendung von Fräsern (18) mit einem Nenndurchmesser um 2 mm und einem Antrieb derselben mit Drehzahlen um 150 000 U/min können Vorschub-Geschwindigkeiten von 8 m/min und mehr erreicht werden.

Disclosed are a method for forming a quilt and a sheet of backing material from which backing pieces used in the method can be separated. The backing sheet has a plurality of outlines of one or more predetermined designs on one face and an adhesive on the other face. Each outline corresponds to a backing piece. The backing pieces are cut from the sheet of backing material and adhered to respective fabric pieces. Each fabric piece and adhered backing piece is cut along the predetermined outline into a predetermined design of the respective backing piece to form respective quilting pieces. Two quilting pieces are placed in a face to face overlapping relationship with edge portions of the two quilting pieces which are intended to be joined adjacent to each other and, in the case of curved edge portions, confronting each other. The two quilting pieces are temporarily secured together along a predetermined seam line by pinning or tacking, for example. When the extreme positions of the seam lines are secured, one of the quilting pieces becomes folded back on itself. The two secured quilting pieces are then sewn along the seam line. Further quilting pieces are applied to the two sewn pieces in like manner.
