Abstract: Provided in the present invention are a composite material containing plant fibre fabrics and a preparation method thereof. The composite material comprises matrix resin and plant fibre fabrics distributed in the matrix resin, wherein the plant fibres of the plant fibre fabrics are pre-treated with surface modifications, and the pre-treatment with surface modifications comprises coupling treatment using a coupling agent, and/or surface flame retardant treatment using a flame retardant. The matrix resin comprises biomass matrix resin. The prepared composite material has the properties of green environmental protection, flame retardancy, sound isolation, etc.; and can be used as a cabin or trim component and can be applied to the following fields: the interiors of an airplane, high-speed train, or car, and furniture, etc.

Abstract: There is provided a method of manufacturing a composite molded body that can increase a processing speed and a joining strength in a different direction. The method of manufacturing a composite molded body in which a metal molded body and a resin molded body are joined, includes the steps of: continuously irradiating a joint surface of the metal molded body with laser light at an irradiation speed of 2,000 mm/sec or more by using a continuous-wave laser; and arranging, within a mold, a portion of the metal molded body including the joint surface irradiated with the laser light in the preceding step and performing injection molding of a resin forming the resin molded body, or performing compression molding in a state where a portion of the metal molded body including the joint surface irradiated with the laser light in the preceding step and a resin forming the resin molded body are made to contact with each other.

Abstract: There is described an improved method of manufacturing an equine protective covering by applying a stamp (50) comprising a profiled shape (52) with a predetermined temperature and pressure to the interior side (22) of the cushion assembly (20) such that concurrently: - the first synthetic fabric layer (30) and the second neoprene layer (40) are permanently bonded; - the second neoprene layer (40) is plastically deformed such that the profiled shape (52) of the stamp (50) is permanently transferred to the second neoprene layer (40); and - the plastic deformation of the second neoprene layer (40) is such that the perforations (42) remain open.

Abstract: The present disclosure can provide an aerogel composite. The aerogel composite comprises at least one base layer having a top surface and a bottom surface, the base layer comprising a reinforced aerogel composition which comprises a reinforcement material and a monolithic aerogel framework, a first facing layer comprising a first facing material attached to the top surface of the base layer, and a second facing layer comprising a second facing material attached to the bottom surface of the base layer. At least a portion of the monolithic aerogel framework of the base layer extends into at least a portion of both the first facing layer and the second facing layer. The first facing material and the second facing material can each comprise or consist essentially of elastic fibers such as spandex, nylon, lycra, elastane, or combinations thereof.

Abstract: Nonwoven materials having discrete three-dimensional deformations therein forming protrusions that extend outward from the first surface of the nonwoven material and wide base openings adjacent to the second surface of the nonwoven material are disclosed. The nonwoven materials include multiple fibers that extend from the base of the protrusions to the distal end of the protrusions, and contribute to form a portion of the sides and cap of a protrusion. Such fibers may at least substantially surround the sides of the protrusions.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a thermoplastic resin film laminate prepared by thermal compressing including: at least a thermoplastic resin film layer with a thickness of 1-250 µm, at least a thermoplastic resin product layer, and a bonding layer of glue in between the thermoplastic resin film layer and the thermoplastic resin product layer, wherein the thermoplastic resin product layer is a thermoplastic resin film or a thermoplastic resin fabric, and the thermoplastic resin fabric can be a woven fabric and/or a nonwoven. In the laminate of the present invention, the fabric has a gram weight of 1-250 g/m 2 and the bonding layer has gram weight of more than 0.1 g/m 2 . The laminate of this invention has good breathability and high moisture transmission rate. The laminate is smooth with no wrinkles and has a soft handfeel.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing a coating film that takes, if required, the shape of sheeting or panels, particularly for coating a carrier layer (3), if required textile materials and/or polyurethane shell foams and/or a textile carrier layer (3), wherein the coating film (100) has a, if required, multi-layered top layer (1) and a connecting layer (2) which is connected thereto and comprises, if required, a plurality of layers (2', 2"), for the purpose of connecting to said carrier layer (3). According to the invention, - as the connecting layer (2), a non-crosslinked polyurethane layer having thermoplastic properties and a strength of between 0.080 and 0.500 mm, preferably between 0.200 and 0.500 and particularly between 0.120 and 0.180 mm, is produced and connected to the upper layer (1), and - as the upper layer (1), a single-layered polyurethane layer or a preferably double-layered polyurethane layer constructed with an outer layer (1') and an inner layer (1"), not having thermoplastic properties or having a non-thermoplastic amorphous or predominantly amorphous structure, is used which is thinner than said connecting layer (2).
