A method for the brazing of an aluminum or aluminum alloy material, characterized in that a brazing sheet which has an aluminum or aluminum alloy core material and, being clad on one or both surfaces thereof, a brazing material layer comprising an Al-Si based alloy and contains Mg incorporated al least in a constituent layer thereof except the brazing material layer is formed into a hollow structure in which the surface clad with the brazing material is the inner surface thereof, and a brazing on the inner surface of the hollow structure is carried out in an inert gas atmosphere without the application of a flux; and an aluminum alloy brazing sheet which satisfies the relationship: (X + Y) ≤ a/60 + 0.5 with the proviso that X > Y, wherein a (μm) represents the thickness of the brazing material layer clad on the core material of the inner side of the above hollow structure, and X and Y (mass %) represent the Mg contents of the core material and the brazing material, respectively.

At least one of the magnetic films is a perpendicular magnetization film. A magnetic film whose easy axis of magnetization is inclined from a direction perpendicular to the film surface is formed at a position where the magnetic film contacts the perpendicular magnetization film but does not contact the nonmagnetic film. Disclosed are a steel plate and a hot-dip galvanized steel plate, superior in terms of high electromagnetic shield capacity. The steel plate is prepared from a composition comprising C, N and S in an amount of 0.150 % by weight or less in total; Mn in an amount of 0.1 to 1.0 % by weight; Si in an amount of 0.5 % by weight or less; Al in an amount of 1.0 % by weight or less; P in an amount of 0.06 % by weight or less; and Fe for the remainder, and inevitable elements, and shows a yield strength of 18 kg/mm2 or higher, and an elongation of 40 % or higher. The hot-dip galvanized steel plate is prepared from a composition comprising C, N and S in an amount of 0.0150 % by weight or less in total; Mn in an amount of 0.2 to 0.8 % by weight; Al in an amount of 0.6 % by weight or less; Si in an amount of 0.4 % by weight or less; P in an amount of 0.06 % by weight or less, with the proviso that the sum of Mn, Al, Si and P amounts to 0.2∼1.0 % by weight; and Fe for the remainder, and inevitably present elements. In addition to having high yield strength, the hot-dip galvanized steel plate is resistant to corrosion owing to the coating of a corrosion-resistant element on the surface.

The invention discloses as well methods for obtaining such pigments and the use of such pigments as security elements in inks, coatings and articles.

The magnetic reproducing layer is separated into a first reproducing layer (18a) having a first composition and a second reproducing layer (18b) having a second composition slightly different from the first composition. The first and second reproducing layers have the same principal components. By changing a ratio in film thickness between the first and second reproducing layers, variations in composition of the first and second reproducing layers can be corrected.

Die Zwischenlage besteht beispielsweise aus Nickel und hat eine Dicke von 1/100 bis 1 mm. Die Zwischenlage ist nicht vorgesehen, um als Bindemittel zur weiteren Verfestigung der Verbindung zu dienen. Es wird davon ausgegangen, daß die durch den Aufprall des Geschosses erzeugten transversalen Schwingungen des Bleches und von der Auftreffstelle aus sich in dem Blech ausbreitenden transversalen und longitudinalen Wellen räumlich und zeitlich solchergestalt zusammentreffen können, daß an bestimmten Stellen besonders hohe. Ablösungen bewirkende Zugspannungen entstehen, wobei auch schon die longitudinalen Wellen für sich in dem Zweilagenstahl infolge ihrer Aufteilung an der Grenzfläche in einen durchgehenden und einen zurückgeworfenen Teil und die Reflektion an den beiden Oberflächen durch Zusammentreffen der fortlaufenden Teilwellen an der Grenzfläche Spannungsspitzen bilden können. Letzteren Einfluß baut die Zwischenlage ab.

A corrosion protective sacrificial aluminum alloy for a heat exchanger which contains more than 4.0 wt.% and up to 15.0 wt.% of Zn, 0.1 to 3 wt.% of Fe and 0.2 to 3 wt.% of Ni, the residue of the alloy being aluminum and obligatory impurities; an aluminum alloy composite material having said aluminum alloy as a sacrificial material; and a heat exchanger using said composite material. The use of said aluminum alloy composite material imparts the resistance to erosion to a tube of an aluminum alloy heat exchanger even when the coolant present inside the tube is high alkaline and at the same time it flows with a high speed.

The invention relates to a method for the production of thin-walled steel components and similar components, comprising an inner core layer (B) and an external boundary layer (A). Said layers are, at least partly, differently annealed. According to the invention, the disadvantages of conventional roll-cladding and case-hardening processes may be overcome by the following methodology: bonding core and boundary layers made from differently annealed steel alloys, in a casting process to give a combined material with flat alloy gradients on the boundary surfaces, moulding the composite material to the dimensions of the thin-walled components, annealing the components by heat treatment, whereby the layers made from the differently annealed steel alloys obtain different annealing properties.
