    摘要: A navigation system provides lane guidance for a navigation route. The navigation route specifies actions for a user to navigate a route from an originating point to a destination along a set of road segments. The lane guidance at a position along the navigation route scores the lanes and provides the lane scoring for the user. To score the lanes, the navigation system determines a lane distance for each lane indicating how far along the navigation route a user may continue to use this lane, without shifting to another lane. The lane distance may be measured up to a look-ahead distance. The lane distance includes distance along subsequent road segments of the route, such that when a lane turns onto a lane on another road segment according to the navigation route, the distance along the other road may be included in the lane distance.

    摘要: The invention pertains to a method for geometric referencing of multi-spectral data in a sequence of images, the images containing distinct regions representing imaged radiation in respective distinct wavelengths, the method comprising: selecting a subset from the sequence of images, said subset containing a plurality of images, each image of which represents a field of view that overlaps with a field of view of at least one other image in the same subset; generating a 3D model by performing photogrammetric 3D reconstruction on the images in the subset; estimating a displacement and a yaw between pairs of successive images of said sequence of images; and using said 3D model and said estimated displacement and yaw to calculate photogrammetric parameters for images of said sequence of images that are not in said selected subset. The invention also pertains to a corresponding system and a corresponding computer program product.

    摘要: A tracking device for automatically following a moving light source that is detectable in the presence of ambient light. A carrier platform including one or more radiant energy conversion devices and a sensor array is mounted to an upright support column with a universal joint. Three independently-operated, linear actuators are equally angularly spaced about the support column with an upper end connected to the carrier platform with a universal hinge and a lower end connected to a floating base with a spherical hinge. A sensor array carried by the carrier platform includes a primary sensor associated with each actuator. During operation, when a primary sensor is not receiving direct radiant energy, the actuator retracts, and when it is receiving radiant energy directly, the actuator extends. The result is that the platform will directly track the sun across the horizon.
