The solid-state image pickup apparatus also includes a shield line between the wiring of one pixel or the floating diffusion area of one pixel and the signal output line of another pixel adjacent to said one pixel, wherein at least a part of the shield line is formed by a wiring layer same as that of the signal output line, and the shield line has a first portion arranged along the signal output line and a second portion arranged along a direction crossing the signal output line.
