Die Erfindung betrifft eine Absolutcode-Skala eines Winkel-oder Linear-Positionsgebers, welche sich aus einer ersten Absolutcodefolge mit einer ersten primären Codeperiodenlänge, welche periodisch fortgesetzt wird, und zumindest einer zweiten Absolutcodefolge mit einer zweiten primären Codeperiodenlänge, welche periodisch fortgesetzt wird, zusammensetzt. Dabei sind die erste und die zumindest zweite Absolutcodefolge zueinander Codewortfremd. Entlang der Absolutcode-Skala sind jeweils abwechslungsweise ein Ausschnitt aus der ersten und ein Ausschnitt aus der zumindest zweiten Absolutcodefolge hintereinander angeordnet und dabei sind in den unterschiedlichen Ausschnitten aus derselben Absolutcodefolge entlang dieser Anordnung die Absolutcodefolgen jeweils zueinander verschoben.

Method for providing a 3D-point cloud using a geodetic surveying instrument (1) and an image capturing unit (20), comprising scanning a surrounding with the surveying instrument (1) according to a defined scanning region with at least partly covering the object (10a) and generating a scanning point cloud corresponding to the scanning region with reference to a surveying coordinate system which is defined by the surveying instrument (1) and generating a first image on side of the surveying instrument (1) covering a region basically corresponding to the scanning region, the first image representing a reference image the pose of which is known with reference to the surveying coordinate system due to the position and orientation of the surveying instrument (1) for acquiring data the first image is base on. A first series of images is captured with the image capturing unit (20) from respective poses and partly covering the scanning region. A algorithm is applied at least comprising identifying a first set of image points based on the reference image and on the first series of at least two images, the image points representing a first set of reference points, wherein each point of the first set of reference points appears in the reference image and in at least one of the images of the first series and position information regarding the points of the first set of reference points is provided by the scanning point cloud, and determining the second poses for the images of the first series with reference to the surveying coordinate system using the first set of reference points and the position information.

A Method for generating scaled terrain information while operating a bulldozer (1), the bulldozer (1) comprising a driving unit comprising a set of drive wheels (5), particularly being part of a continuous track (6), and a motor connected to at least one of the drive wheels (5) for providing movability of the bulldozer (1), a blade (4) for altering the surface of the terrain (10,10'), at least one camera (2,2',2",2"') for capturing images of the environment, particularly of the terrain (10,10'), the camera (2,2',2" ,2" ') being positioned and aligned in a known manner relative to the bulldozer (1), and a controlling and processing unit (3), wherein the method comprises: moving the bulldozer (1) in the terrain (10,10') whilst concurrently generating a set of image data by capturing an image series of terrain sections with the at least one camera so that at least two images, particularly successive images, of the image series cover an amount of identical points in the terrain (10,10'), wherein the terrain sections are defined by a viewing field (7,7',7",7"') of the at least one camera (2,2',2" ,2" ') at respective positions of the camera (2,2',2" ,2" ') while moving, and either applying a simultaneous localisation and mapping (SLAM) algorithm or a stereo photogrammetry algorithm to the set of image data and thereby deriving terrain data, the terrain data comprising a point cloud representing the captured terrain (10,10') and position data relating to a relative position of the bulldozer (1) in the terrain (10,10'), and scaling the point cloud by applying an absolute scale information to the terrain data, particularly scaling the position data.

The invention relates to a method for an automated construction data interchange in a work information modelling system with a server means and a mobile client device built for establishing a communication link to the server means. The server means stores a general construction database with structured datasets of object entities of physical construction components with a hierarchical structure. The method according to the invention comprises surveying on-site spatial location information of the executing entity and an automatic filtering and preparing of a specific on-site task information with respect to a required handling sequence of the physical construction components to establish the desired construction result. This automatic filtering is based on a role associated to the executing entity, the on-site spatial location information, time information, the structured datasets and the hierarchical structure. The specific on-site task information is provided to the executing entity with a dynamic updating of the construction database and the specific on-site task information.
