摘要： A float fishing rig comprises a float having a stem 6 for righting a horizontally extending upper portion 5 adapted to float substantially at the surface of a body of water. The float upper portion 5 has a convex upper surface, and the float upper portion 5 and the float stem 6 each include a line guide 12, 7 for a fishing line 13. An indicator antenna 2 is resiliently held upstanding from the float 5, for example by an elastomeric sleeve. The float includes guide means 10, 9, 7 for guiding an indicator line which may be connected [1] to the antenna 2 and at 8 to the fishing line 13 leading to a bottom rig carried by the fishing line. A pull on the bottom rig will upset the antenna 2 to give an indication of a bite.

摘要： The invention relates to a fishing rod accessory having simple design which is connected to a traditional float (1). As a result, a cast bait can be lifted or lowered, as if by remote control, by corresponding movements of the fishing rod. The inventive accessory consists of a hollow body (4) which can be rapidly flooded via the two end openings (for the fishing line (3) to be passed through), and a (submersible) ball (6) lodged inside the hollow body (4). Said ball (6) frees the passage of the line (3), when the hollow body (4) is in horizontal position, by rolling into a trough-shaped hollow, whereas it blocks this passage after swinging around an axis (5a) (i.e. in vertical position) by jamming, together with the line, in the circular and funnel-shaped outlet opening, when the position in question is stabilized (until the next fishing rod manoeuvre).

摘要： Novel light-storing materials suitable for appling light-storing coatings to objects are described. Fishing apparatus, including all types of fishing tackle, is enhanced by the application to parts of it of a light-storing coating, i.e. a coating which, once exposed to light, re-emits light using a light-storing phenomenon. The light-storing coating material may contain an alkaline earth metal, e.g. strontium, aluminate sustained by europium or the like, a resin-based binder, and a precipitation-preventing agent. The coating may be applied e.g. to the middle portion of a fishhook.
