A cylindrical-shaped body is formed by mounting a carcass material (24) to the outer peripheral side of a film (22) formed of a thermoplastic resin or a thermoplastic resin elastomer composition, a primary molded body is formed by fitting bead rings (25) on opposite ends, in the width direction, of the cylindrical-shaped body, and the primary molded body is sucked and held on the inner peripheral surface of a transfer and holding mold. After a rigid inner mold (11) is inserted into the primary molded body, the suction is stopped and the primary molded body is transferred to the outer peripheral surface of the rigid inner mold (11). Then, on the rigid inner mold (11), another tire constituting member is stacked on the outer peripheral surface of the primary molded body to mold a green tire (G). After that, the green tire (G), from which the rigid inner mold (11) has been removed, is mounted inside a curing mold, the curing mold is heated to a predetermined temperature, the film (22) is inflated from the inner peripheral side and heated to vulcanize the green tire (G). Thus, the film (22) is brought into close contact with and bonded to the inner peripheral surface of the tire to form an inner layer.

The present invention aims to provide a pneumatic tire and a method of manufacturing the pneumatic tire that do not cause air accumulation or film damage even without application of a mold release agent to an inner face of the pneumatic tire in vulcanizing and molding by use of a bladder. The pneumatic tire according to the present invention has an inner liner 6 including a film layer on the inner face of the pneumatic tire and is manufactured by a method including a process to press an unvulcanized tire against molds 11, 13 with a bladder 14 without applying the mold release agent. The inner face of the pneumatic tire consists of the film layer, and a dynamic friction coefficient between the film layer and the bladder 14 is 2.0 or less at 25 degrees Celsius.

The pneumatic tire has sufficient tackiness before vulcanization and vulcanization adhesiveness between the inner liner and a member adjacent thereto, and exhibits excellent air permeation resistance.

A method for producing a pneumatic tire in which an air-in phenomenon between an inner liner and a carcass is avoided by preventing adhesion of the inner liner to a bladder includes the following steps. A green tire using, as an inner liner, a polymer laminate including a first layer (11a) having a thickness of 0.05 mm to 0.6 mm made of a styrene-isobutylene-styrene triblock copolymer, and a second layer (12a) composed of at least one of a second A layer made of a styrene-isoprene-styrene triblock copolymer and a second B layer made of a styrene-isobutylene diblock copolymer, the second layer having a thickness of 0.01 mm to 0.3 mm, is prepared. The green tire is mounted in a mold for vulcanization with pressurization by the bladder to obtain a vulcanized tire. The vulcanized tire is cooled at 50 to 120°C for 10 to 300 seconds.

The film of the present invention comprises at least a layer composed of resin composition (D) produced by dispersing viscoelastic substance (C) in a resin containing modified ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (B) obtained by subjecting ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (A) to a reaction, wherein 100% modulus at -30°C of the viscoelastic substance (C) is smaller than 6MPa.
