摘要: A fire-resistant polymeric membrane includes a polymer layer such as PVC, TPO, or EPDM affixed to a carbon fiber composite. The carbon fiber composite includes one or two layers of non-woven carbon fibers and at least one of an inert fiber mat or a metal foil layer, wherein the metal foil layer has a melting temperature of at least about 660° C. The present invention also provides an underlayment, wherein the underlayment is formed from one or more fibrous carbon layers affixed to at least one of an inert fiber mat or a metal foil having a melting temperature greater than 660° C.

摘要: Provided is a composite body in which a resin and a metal are contact-bonded with excellent adhesive force. Also provided is a composite body which is suppressed in decrease of bonding strength between a resin and a metal due to water absorption of the resin even if the composite body is left in rain or water, or is left in a high humidity environment or the like for a long period of time. The present invention relates to a composite body which is obtained by contact-bonding a thermoplastic resin (A) and a metal (B), and which is characterized in that the thermoplastic resin (A) is a polyamide elastomer (1A) or a thermoplastic resin composition (2A) that contains a water absorbent thermoplastic resin (2a) and a metal hydroxide (2b).

摘要: A curing composition for rubber includes: a metallic co-agent selected from the group consisting of zinc diacrylate and zinc methacrylate; organic peroxide; sulfur; and a hydrotalcite compound. The curing composition and a rubber matrix can be used to make an uncured rubber composition. A cured rubber is obtainable by curing the uncured rubber composition.

摘要: A material for a gasket, wherein a chromate or non-chromate film, a phenol resin primer layer and a polyol-crosslinkable fluororubber layer are formed on one or both surfaces of a steel plate in this sequence from the side of the steel plate; the polyol-crosslinkable fluororubber layer is a rubber layer obtained by applying a fluororubber composition that comprises fluororubber, a polyol-based cross-linking agent, an amine-based cross-linking accelerator and silica to the phenol resin primer layer, followed by heating; and the amine-based cross-linking accelerator is a tertiary amine or a salt of a tertiary amine obtained by a reaction between a tertiary amine and an acid. Provided is a material for a gasket mounted in an engine of a vehicle that, in the actual use environment, does not suffer rubber peeling in a part where it contacts water or an anti-freezing solution even if the gasket is used in a state where it contacts different types of metals and, in a sealing part around a combustion room, abrasion or ply separation of a rubber layer hardly occurs.

摘要: The present invention provides a laminated body including a support (A) that includes a polyphenylene sulfide resin composition containing a polyphenylene sulfide (a1) and an elastomer (a2), and a metal layer (B) and a metal-plating layer (C) that are laminated on the support (A) in this order, wherein the elastomer (a2) is contained in the polyphenylene sulfide resin composition in an amount in the range of 0.3 to 90 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the polyphenylene sulfide (a1). The laminated body is excellent in adhesiveness between the polyphenylene sulfide as the support and the metal-plating layer, and also has a thermal resistance so as to maintain the excellent adhesiveness even when exposed to a high-temperature environment.
