The invention relates to a motor vehicle seat having an air supply device (42) by means of which a ventilation layer (24) of the cushion (18) of the seat can be flown through by an airflow in order to ventilate the seat and/or to heat the seat. The motor vehicle seat also comprises an air outflow opening (16) of the air supply device (42), which is located in the upper area of the seat and via which the head area, shoulder area and the back of the neck area of the seat occupant can be exposed to an airflow. To this end, a fan (40) is assigned to the air supply device (42). In order to create a motor vehicle seat with a universally installable air supply device, the fan can be supplied with air from the ventilation layer (24) of the cushion (18) of the seat in order to produce the airflow for the head area, shoulder area and the back of the neck area of the seat occupant.
