摘要: The invention relates to a system and a method for production of volatile natural compounds using microorganisms grown on solid growth media. The system comprises a flask with one open end arranged to receive a solid growth medium and a closure arranged to fit in said open end of the flask, said closure being configured to receive two separated, different liquids. The container allows sealing in order to prevent the produced VOCs from escaping the container. The method comprises at least the following steps:
a) preparation of the container and a suitable solid growth medium,
b) growth of a selected microbial strain,
c) inoculation of the microbial strain onto the solid growth medium,
d) filling the closure with water and a suitable organic solvent separately,
e) sealing, and
f) incubation, wherein VOCs are present in the organic solvent.-

摘要: Provided is a digital assay method for determining the concentration of a substance in a solution, as a method available for making the operation of digital assay simpler and easier, the method comprising the steps of: (1) providing a substrate having a chamber array region in which 10,000 to 10 billion chambers having a volume of 1 attoliter to 100 femtoliters are arranged, wherein the substrate has light permeability and the chambers recess from a surface of the substrate, (2) introducing a solution containing a substance onto the chamber array region of the substrate, (3) covering the chamber array region of the substrate with an adhesive tape comprising a base layer and an adhesive layer, followed by pressure-bonding the adhesive layer of the adhesive tape against the surface of the substrate, thereby discharging excess of the solution in the chamber array region outside the chamber array region and sealing each of the chambers 2 containing the solution liquid-tight to function as reactors, (4) detecting the presence or absence of the substance in each of the reactors based on fluorescence emitted from a fluorescent substance resulting from the presence of the substance, and (5) determining the concentration of the substance in the solution based on the number of reactors in which the presence of the substance is detected.

摘要: Provided is a novel technique for providing a substrate advantageous when producing a sensor for analysis. The substrate for producing a sensor for analysis provided in the present disclosure has specific characteristics (for example, monodispersion, a single layer, or a specific density), such that it is possible to produce a sensor for analysis that is stable and enables highly accurate analysis. In the present disclosure, it is not required to remove excess fine particles after arranging the fine particles on the substrate, reproducibility of the density of the fine particles immobilized on the substrate is improved, and monodispersibility and single-layer properties are also improved.

摘要: The present invention is a modular and vertically scalable biological plant for NOx abatement. The plant comprises: a support structure formed by a plurality of vertically superimposed modules, a plurality of photobioreactor tanks suitable for carrying out a microalgae culture inside, wherein each tank is arranged in one of the modules of the structure, such that all the tanks are vertically aligned with respect to the floor. The plant further comprises: means of temperature regulation inside each photobioreactor tank, means of culture fluid agitation inside each of the photobioreactor tanks, and means of culture lighting inside each of the tanks. The plant requires a minimum footprint so that it can be installed in industrial plants already in operation.
