A liquid dispensing nozzle assembly (310) is provided for mounting on a liquid container (312) having a flexible wall (314) for manually squeezed dispensing of a liquid through the nozzle assembly (310). The nozzle assembly (310) maintains the liquid, such as contact lens saline solution, in sterile condition during storage and repeated dispensing of the liquid from the container (312). The nozzle assembly (310) includes a liquid conduit (323) for communication from the container to a liquid discharge port (322) to enable dispensing of the liquid displaced by manually squeezing the flexible wall (314) of the container (312).
