    摘要: For ensuring a low cost transport of signals in a radio network, in particular with a high density of radio access points, a method is proposed, where the signals are transported over wires between a base station and radio access points, comprising the steps of:
    - determining the useful band of each wire (20);
    - associating at least two wires (21);
    - filtering the signal into sub-bands (22);
    - transporting each sub-band over one or more wires of the associated wires (25);
    - at the receiving end rebuilding the signal from the sub-bands (27).
    Further proposed are a radio head and a radio controller both adapted to the present method.

    摘要: In systems and methods for randomizing data communicated across a digital interface, a PN sequence is applied to a series of shift registers (141). An array of exclusive-or gates (142) is provided to scramble each bit of the current data word using a respective output of one or several of the shift registers. A second pseudonoise sequence is additionally applied in parallel to another array of exclusive-or gates (143). Additional lines are provided to communicate the PN sequences from the transmitting side to the receiver side. Also, corresponding arrays of exclusive-or gates (152, 153) and shift-registers (151) coupled to the PN sequence lines are disposed on the receiver side to recover the original data using the PN sequences.

    摘要: A device, system and method for aligning data received on a plurality of data lanes in a data link are disclosed. One or more alignment vectors are generated for each of a plurality of data lanes where each alignment vector represents a location of an alignment character in an associated one of the data lanes. For each data lane, a plurality of alignment vectors may be associated with one or more alignment windows associated with a common alignment window, an alignment position may be selected for each data lane.

    摘要: The present invention is directed to a method of synchronizing data transmission through optical links between first and second communications components. Each of the first and second communications components include an optical laser for transmitting and receiving laser signals to and from each other through the optical links. In an embodiment, the method comprises the steps of: (a) initializing each of the first and second communications components; (b) enabling the optical lasers and optical sensors; (c) exchanging idle packets between the first and second communications components to establish a datapath across the optical links; (d) exchanging test data packets across the datapath established in step (c) to verify connection of the optical links; and (e) upon verification of connection of said optical links in step (d), enabling data flow between said first and second communications components. In particular, this method is applicable to synchronizing data transmission across a parallel optical link comprising a plurality of parallel links.

    摘要: A hybrid serial/parallel bus interface method for a user equipment (UE) has a data block demultiplexing device (40). The data block demultiplexing device (40) has an input configured to receive a data block and demultiplexes the data block into a plurality of nibbles (42(2)). For each nibble, a parallel to serial converter (42(i)) converts the nibble into serial data. A line (44) transfers each nibble's serial data. A serial to parallel converter (46i) converts each nibble's serial data to recover that nibble. A data block reconstruction device (48) combines the recovered nibbles into the data block.

    摘要: Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Monitoren einer Datenübertragung, wobei eine Vielzahl von physikalischen Verbindungen zwischen zwei Netzknoten (A, B) zu mindestens einer virtuellen Verbindung (13; 15) zusammengefaßt sind, wobei die zwischen den beiden Netzknoten (A, B) zu übertragenden Daten auf die einzelnen physikalischen Verbindungen (11 ) verteilt werden, wobei auf den physikalischen Verbindungen (11) zwischen den zwei Netzknoten (A, B) während der Datenübertragung Datenpakete übermittelt werden, die Zugehörigkeitsinformation darüber enthalten, zu welcher virtuellen Verbindung (13; 15) die entsprechende physikalische Verbindung (11 ) gehört, und weist folgende Schritte auf: Zunächst wird eine Überwachungsvorrichtung an eine Vielzahl physikalischer Verbindungen (11 ) angeschlossen, die zumindest eine virtuelle Verbindung (13; 15) umfassen. Anschließend werden auf der Vielzahl physikalischer Verbindungen (11) übertragene Datenpakete empfangen ohne selbst zu senden. Dann wird die Zugehörigkeitsinformation der Datenpakete extrahiert, die über die Vielzahl physikalischer Verbindungen (11) übertragen werden. Schließlich wird die extrahierte Zugehörigkeitsinformation ausgewertet, um die physikalischen Verbindungen (11) zu bestimmen, die zu jeweils einer virtuellen Verbindung (13; 15) zusammengefaßt sind. Die Erfindung betrifft überdies eine entsprechende Vorrichtung zum Monitoren einer Datenübertragung.

    摘要: In one example embodiment, a high-speed parallel-data communication approach transfers digital data in parallel from a first module to a second module over a communication channel including a plurality of parallel data-carrying lines and a clock path. The parallel bus lines are arranged in a plurality of groups, each of the groups including a plurality of data-carrying lines and a clock path adapted to carry a clock signal for synchronizing digital data carried from the first module to the second module. The sets of data are concurrently transferred using the groups of lines of the parallel bus, and at the second module and for each group, the transferred digital data is synchronously collected via the clock signal for the group. At the second module, the data collected for each group is aligned. By grouping the bus lines in groups with each group having its own clock domain, skew across clock-domain groups is tolerated and overcome by processing the data and the skew first within each clock domain group, and then between groups.

    摘要: A circuit for receiving multiple serial datastreams in parallel is disclosed. A bit clock is recovered from each data stream, there being one data bit for each transition of the clock signal both positive and negative going. The phases of the bit clocks are compared and are adjusted by 180 degrees so that the positive going edges of all occur close to each other. The bits of each stream are assembled into words under the control of a word clock. In one embodiment a common word clock is derived from the set of bit clocks as a whole. In another embodiment each stream is provided with its own word clock which is aligned to positive edges of the respective bit clocks that are close to each other.
