摘要: The invention relates to a steering arrangement for a vehicle which is movable along a predefined path in use, being automatically steered via at least one first axle. The invention also relates to a vehicle provided with such a steering arrangement. It is an object of the invention to provide a steering arrangement as described in the introduction for use in an automatically guided and steered vehicle, i.e. without a driver, which steering arrangement can continue to influence the steerage of the vehicle for a minimum period of time in case of a malfunction, such that the risk of dangerous situations or accidents is minimised. In order to accomplish that object, the steering arrangement comprises: a path tracking system comprising information characteristics relating to the predefined path to be followed; path sensor means designed to detect a deviation from the predefined path by the vehicle; steering means designed to steer the at least first axle so as to correct the detected deviation from the path; as well as a guidance control system for controlling the steering means, which guidance control system comprises at least three mutually verifying arithmetic units, such that in case of a detected malfunction in one of the arithmetic units, the other arithmetic units will disable the arithmetic unit in question.

摘要: A system including a node (24, 26), wherein the node (24, 26) includes two separate controllers (40, 42), each of which is configured to output data to a bus (28), or receive data from a bus (28), or output data to and receive data from a bus (28). At least one controller (24, 26) is configured to monitor the output of the other controller (24, 26) and is configured such that if the at least one controller (24, 26) determines that the other controller (24, 26) is providing improper data or signals, at least part of the output data of the other controller (24, 26) is nullified, overridden or superseded by an output from the at least one controller (24, 26).

摘要: The invention relates to a control unit arrangement comprising a plurality of control units (1-3, 20-23) in a means of transport, said control units being networked by means of a first data bus (4). Said arrangement contains control units (1-3; 20-3) which are redundant in terms of a control function and a data bus disconnector (5) is associated with the redundantly embodied control units (1-- 3; 20-23), said disconnector connecting or disconnecting the data bus (4) according to an evaluation signal. In order to optimise the redundant arrangement, each of said data bus connectors (5) is connected to a signal line of at least one other redundant control unit (1-3; 20-23), another redundant control unit (2,3; 21; 23) transmits an evaluation signal to the data bus disconnector (5) associated with a first redundant control unit (1; 20; 22), the evaluation signal being the result of a functional test of the other redundant control unit (2,3; 21; 3) in terms of the first redundant control unit (1; 20; 22). The data bus disconnector (5) of the first redundant control unit (1; 20; 22) disconnects the data bus (4) according to the result of a logic circuit, at least one input signal of the logic circuit being formed by the at least one evaluation signal.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for operating a distributed computer system (SYS) with network nodes (NKN, NK1-NK6), each of which having at least one node control (STR, ST1-ST6) and one communications controller (KK1-KK6), whereby the communications controllers (KKK, KK1-KK6) are connected to one another via at least one communications channel (BUS), and a fault tolerance layer (FTS, FT1-FT6) is provided between the communications controller (KK1-KK6) and the node control (STR, ST1-ST6) of a network node (NKN, NK1-NK6). Said fault tolerance layer is disposed for receiving messages exchanged between the network nodes (NKN, NK1-NK6), whereby, in a matching method, the fault tolerance layer (FTS, FT1-FT6) decides the functioning of the at least one network node (NK1-NK6) by using received information about the state of at least one network node (NKN, NK1-NK6). The matching result is provided in the form of an output signal (ASS, AS1-AS6), whereby the at least one network node (NKN, NK1-NK6) is controlled according to the output signal (ASS, AS1-AS6).
