The memory may store instructions of, by an operation of an application processor, causing the electronic device to acquire information on a first external electronic device, access a server storing a software program related to the first external electronic device through a wireless communication interface, receive at least a portion of the software program related to the first external electronic device from the server through the communication interface, install the at least a portion of the software program, transmit the at least a portion of the information on the first external electronic device and/or at least one part of the received at least a portion of the software program to a second external electronic device, and provide a user interface to the display using the installed at least a portion of the software program. The user interface may be configured to receive a user input that is used for the second external electronic device to perform an operation related to the first external electronic device.

Further steps are determining a delay in each of said gateways, sending after said delay from the gateway a request message, and completing the link establishment process by responding in said peripheral wireless node (14; 16; 19; 21; 23) to the request message received from the gateway responding after the shortest delay, said peripheral wireless node (14; 16; 19; 21; 23) then being bound to the gateway responding after the shortest delay. Each gateway of the system comprises wireless communication means (40) for communicating with wireless peripheral nodes and a central unit (44) arranged to apply the delay.
