摘要: A forestry winch provided with an assembly for the measurement of braking power, comprising a drum (2) that is arranged in a housing (1) and to which a hauling wire cable (3) is wound and stored, wherein the drum is pivotally attached on an axle (4) mounted in the housing; a clutch (5) arranged on one lateral side of the drum and connected with the Cardan shaft of a tractor; a drum brake (6) that is circumferentially arranged on another lateral side of the drum; a hydraulic block (7) comprising a hydraulic medium tank, a pump for providing pressure for the hydraulic medium, at! least one control unit in the form of a hydraulic or proportional hydraulic valve for the clutch control, at least one control unit in the form of a proportional hydraulic valve (8) that is connected with the hydraulic cylinder (9) with the belonging piston, a control unit (16) with which the user controls and operates the forestry winch, all said elements being mutually hydraulically connected, wherein the forestry winch comprises a deflection cylinder for deviating and shifting the hauling wire cable from its hauling direction, a measuring instrument (15) for measuring shifts, said instrument having an output signal, a control block arranged inside the housing of the winch and comprising at least one control unit with a regulating algorithm, wherein the control block is connected with the measuring instrument for measuring shifts in a way that allows reception of its output signal and is connected with the hydraulic block in a way that allows the control of the proportional hydraulic valve of the brake.

摘要: The purpose of the invention is to detect a failure situation wherein the machinery brake of an elevator does not open sufficiently. In the method for testing failure of a machinery brake of an elevator: the machinery brake is controlled to open; after this, the traction sheave is oscillated with a test torque; the movement of the elevator machine is measured in connection with the oscillation; if the machine does not move in connection with the oscillation, it is deduced that the machinery brake has not opened and has therefore failed. Most preferably a shorter time is selected as the oscillation time than the time according to the displacement function of the elevator mechanics for transmitting movement of the traction sheave into movement of the elevator car, in which case the oscillation is not noticed in the elevator car. This enables testing of a machinery brake when the elevator car is manned.

摘要: An electromagnetic-released, multi-disc, enclosed safety brake for primary use in offshore marine winch applications includes a stationary coil housing that encompasses springs that apply pressure to an armature, a pair of separator plates, three friction plates and a stationary endplate. The multi-disc brake is released by means of a DC voltage applied to the brake coil. The excited coil generates an electromagnetic force that attracts the armature across an air-gap thus reducing the spring force applied to the disc pack. The brake is applied when the DC voltage is removed from the brake coil. Various structures and methodologies for reducing vibrations in the brake are also provided.

摘要: The electric winch device includes a required braking force estimation section (44) which estimates a required braking force which is a braking force required to stop a free-falling object at a position at an allowable stopping height set by a setting unit; a braking force determination section (50) which determines, out of an operational braking force estimated by an operational braking force estimation section, each of a first braking force to be borne by a braking device and a second braking force to be borne by a braking force which is generated in an electric motor due to consumption of regenerative power; and a control section (52) which causes the braking device to apply the first braking force, which has been determined by the braking force determination section, to a winch drum. The braking force determination section (50) determines the first braking force to be a braking force equal to or greater than the required braking force when, at a time of stopping of the free-falling object, the operational braking force estimated by the operational braking force estimation section (44) is equal to or greater than the required braking force.

The controller includes: a first torque derivation unit which derives a value of a first torque applied to the winch drum due to a load of an object; a second torque derivation unit which derives a value of a second torque generated in the winch drum in the direction of rotation for hoisting the object by a drive torque of the electric motor, on the basis of a current value measured by the ammeter; and a brake control unit which determines a timing for releasing a braking action on the winch drum after the operation lever has been operated to a hoisting side or a lowering side, on the basis of a differential between the second torque value derived by the second torque derivation unit and the first torque value derived by the first torque derivation unit, and which causes the brake to release the braking action on the winch drum by transmitting, to the brake, a control signal instructing release of the braking action on the winch drum at the determined timing.
