There is provided a crack-propagation prediction method including a correlation-information preparing step of measuring the length of a crack initiated in a test object by a plurality of inspectors and/or a plurality of inspection methods and obtaining correlation information between data acquired through the measurement and the condition of an actual crack; a crack-length estimating step of estimating the actual length of the crack initiated in an inspection target on the basis of the crack length measured by an inspector during inspection of the inspection target and the correlation information; and a crack-propagation-curve estimating step of estimating a crack-propagation curve of the inspection target originating from the crack length estimated in the crack-length estimating step.

According to the present invention, an analysis system constructed as a rheology model of a foundation-ground system that is capable of expressing a frequency dependent dynamic spring by using elements with non-frequency-dependent coefficients may be provided. The analysis system according to the present invention is a model for reproducing dynamical characteristics of a system including the foundation and the ground. The analysis system includes an elastic element 10, a damper element 20 for damping vibration, and a reaction force generation element 30 that generates reaction force proportional to relative acceleration of both ends thereof. The analysis system is constructed as a base system 40 in which the elastic element 10, the damper element 20 and the reaction force generation element 30 are connected in parallel. Also, the analysis system may include at least one core system 50, 60 provided with any of two elements among the elastic element, the damper element and the reaction force generation element connected in parallel, and a remaining element connected serially thereto. And the base system and at least one core system may be connected in parallel to construct the analysis system.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Klimakammer zur messtechnischen Erfassung des thermischen Komforts in einem Prüfobjekt und für witterungsabhängige Funktionsprüfungen an diesem Prüfobjekt. Erfindungsgemäß besteht die Klimakammer aus Dämmelementen, die sich in einem Stützportal angeordnet reversibel auf- und wieder abbauen lassen und das Prüfobjekt umschließen. Ein Klimagerät bringt Luft in die Klimakammer ein bzw. wälzt Luft in der Klimakammer um, wobei über Wärmetauscher des Klimagerätes, über die die Luft geführt wird, die unterschiedlichen klimatischen Bedingungen eingestellt werden. Die Dämmelemente werden im Stützportal zusammengefügt und umschließen das zu untersuchende Prüfobjekt derartig, dass es von den Dämmelementen umgeben ist. Der Boden bleibt hierbei insbesondere unverändert, d.h. so wie er vor Zusammenbau der Dämmelemente war. Vorteil der erfindungsgemäßen Vorrichtung ist, dass eine mobile Klimakammer an verschiedenen Standorten ohne größeren Aufwand auf- und wieder abgebaut werden kann.

A time-base generator made in accordance with the present disclosure includes a phase filter and modulation circuitry that generates a rapidly varying phase signal as a function of the output of a sigma-delta modulator. The phase filter filters unwanted high-frequency phase components from the rapidly varying phase signal. The filtered signal is used to clock one or more samplers so as to create sampling instances of the signal(s) under test. The sampling instances are then analyze using any one or more of a variety of techniques suited to the type of signal(s) under test.

A method of inspecting a lateral pipe extending from a manhole, the method comprising: (a) extending an imaging head into the manhole using a positioning system, the imaging head comprising an imaging device and at least one lamp capable of producing a light beam, the positioning system comprising an elongated member and a targeting fixture operatively connected thereto, the imaging head being attached to one end of the elongated member, the targeting fixture having a distal end biased outwardly from the imaging head; (b) placing the distal end on a rigid surface proximate to the lateral pipe; (c) pushing down on the elongated member such that the distal end resiliently moves toward the imaging head, thereby allowing the light beam to be centered approximately in the lateral pipe; and (d) imaging a target located within the lateral pipe.
