    摘要： Embodiments of this application disclose a method for reducing a peak-to-average power ratio PAPR, and a communication apparatus, and are applied to a transmitting system including a power amplifier. In the method, a reserved resource may be determined based on a first unscheduled resource in transmission bandwidth and/or a second unscheduled resource in guard bandwidth, and a fixed reserved resource in a conventional technology does not need to be used. Therefore, flexibility of determining the reserved resource can be improved, and flexibility of reducing a peak-to-average power ratio PAPR in a frequency domain resource reservation TR manner can further be improved.

    摘要： This application provides a sequence-based signal processing method and apparatus. A sequence used for sending a signal on a PUSCH is determined. The sequence is a sequence {xn} including N elements, xn is an element in the sequence {xn}, and the determined sequence {xn} is a sequence satisfying a preset condition. Then, a first signal is generated and sent. By using the determined sequence, when a signal is sent on the PUSCH, relatively good sequence frequency domain flatness can be maintained, and a relatively low PAPR value and a relatively low cross-correlation between sequences can be maintained, thereby satisfying a communications application environment in which a signal is sent on the PUSCH, especially an NR system scenario or an NR similar scenario.

    摘要： A multicarrier system and data modulation and demodulation methods and devices for the multicarrier system are provided. The data modulation method includes: performing cyclic shifting on data sequences of L continuous symbols respectively, L≥2; and modulating the cyclically shifted data sequences by use of a waveform function, an independent variable range of the waveform function being greater than or equal to a symbol interval of the L modulated symbols. The technical solution solves the technical problems in which the related art is not compatible with a LTE system or effectively suppressing out-of-band leakage or flexibly adjusting a symbol interval to adapt to different channel environments and exhibits poor demodulation performance, thus achieving effective suppression of the out-of-band leakage, having higher compatibility with the LTE system and improving demodulation performance and flexibility of adjusting a symbol interval by simple cyclic shifting.

The method includes: determining a first PTRS pattern; and transmitting a PTRS based on the first PTRS pattern, where the first PTRS pattern belongs to a first PTRS pattern set, the first PTRS pattern set includes a plurality of PTRS patterns, and none of all PTRS groups in each PTRS pattern in an OFDM symbol is located at a tail of the OFDM symbol; and the PTRS pattern includes a plurality of PTRS groups, and each PTRS group includes a plurality of consecutive PTRS sampling points. None of all PTRS groups in a PTRS pattern determined by a terminal device and a network device is located at the tail of the OFDM symbol, to reduce impact of a parameter, for example, a receive window advance, on precision of phase noise estimated based on the PTRS, so that when the PTRS is transmitted based on the PTRS pattern, the demodulation performance can be improved, and spectral efficiency can be improved.
