    Abstract: Provided are a method by which a first apparatus performs wireless communication and an apparatus supporting same. The method comprises the steps of: obtaining a plurality of sidelink (SL) DRX inactivity timers that are mapped to a plurality of SL quality of service (QoS) profiles associated with a destination layer-2 (L2) identifier (ID); receiving, through a physical sidelink control channel (PSCCH), first sidelink control information (SCI) for scheduling a physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH) and second SCI; receiving, through the PSSCH, the second SCI comprising a destination layer-1 (L1) ID and cast type information; selecting one SL DRX inactivity timer from among the plurality of SL DRX inactivity timers associated with the destination L 1 ID, on the basis of failure to decode a medium access control (MAC) protocol data unit (PDU); and starting the one SL DRX inactivity timer, wherein the one SL DRX inactivity timer may be an SL DRX inactivity timer that has the longest duration among the plurality of SL DRX inactivity timers.

    Abstract: This application provides a radio frequency link switching method and a communication apparatus. The method includes: A terminal device receives first information from a network device, where the first information indicates the terminal device to switch at least one transmit link from a first carrier group to a second carrier group. The terminal device determines a third carrier group based on a first parameter of the first carrier group and a first parameter of the second carrier group, where the third carrier group is the first carrier group or the second carrier group, and a switching time period of the transmit link is located in the third carrier group. The first parameter includes one or more of the following parameters: a carrier bandwidth of at least one carrier, a bandwidth part BWP in at least one carrier, identification information of at least one carrier, identification information of a cell to which at least one carrier belongs, or a quantity of carriers. This can reduce a waste of resources and improve resource utilization.

    Abstract: A buffer status report sending method and a communication apparatus are provided. The buffer status report sending method includes: receiving a first configuration message from an access network device, where the first configuration message is used to configure a one-to-one correspondence between a plurality of buffer status BS intervals and a plurality of index values; and sending a buffer status report BSRto the access network device based on the correspondence, where the BSR includes a target index value, and the plurality of index values include the target index value. According to the BSR sending method, a terminal may send the BSR to the access network device based on the correspondence that is between the BS interval and the index value and that is configured by the access network device for the terminal, to request a transmission resource that better meets an actual requirement of the terminal, thereby reducing a waste of transmission resources.
