The linkage assembly (98) operates to steer the steerable weight transfer axle (120) in coordination with the rear steering axle (82). The linkage assembly (98) has a rear steer axle pivot arm (100) pivotally connected to the rear steering axle (82) and linked to the steering mechanism (84, 92) of the rear steering axle (82), and a reversing pivot (104) linked to the rear steer axle pivot arm (100) and to the steerable weight transfer axle (120).

The auger assembly has first and second auger tubes pivotally connected to one another. The auger tubes pivot between a first position in which the auger tubes are coaxial and a second position in which the auger tubes form one of at least two angles. A first link is pivotally connected to the first auger tube and a second link pivotally connected to the second auger tube. An actuator is connected to one of the auger tubes and to one of the links, with the first and second links being pivotally interconnected at one of two positions to maintain the auger tubes in both auger tube positions without loading the actuator.

Upon rotation of the knife carrier (62) through a center position relative to the tensioning member (94), the tensioning member (94) accelerates rotation of the knife carrier (62) into the home position or the cut position.

Each tooth (54) is received in a corresponding notch (44) of the interior periphery (42).
