    摘要: An arrangement is disclosed for adjusting a valve which has a tappet which is under the effect of a restoring spring. In a housing (9) which is to be attached to the valve, a temperature-dependent actuating element (11) which interacts with a working piston (13) is arranged. The actuating element is a metallic component (11) which is composed of an alloy and has an impressed shape memory which extends essentially transversely with respect to the direction of movement of the tappet of the valve. Including the working piston (13) it can be adjusted in the direction of movement of the tappet between two end positions which correspond on the one hand to the open position of the valve and on the other hand to its closed position. The metallic component (11) assumes a shape corresponding to the impressed shape memory when it is heated in its first end position. A pressure unit which acts on the metallic component (11) and by which said metallic component (11) is held in its second end position when the heating stops is mounted in the housing (9).

    摘要: Device and method for limiting adverse events during supplemental oxygen therapy are disclosed. In the present invention, the oxygen flow between a patient and an oxygen source is controlled with a valve such as a proportional solenoid capable of constraining flow-rates within a continuous range. The flow-rate of oxygen is accurately controlled in a closed-loop with flow-rate measurements. Measures of a patient's vital physiological statistics are used to automatically determine optimum therapeutic oxygen flow-rate. Controller signal filtering is disclosed to improve the overall response and stability. The control algorithm varies flow-rates to minimize disturbances in the patient feedback measurements.

    摘要: Es wird eine Anordnung zur Einstellung eines Ventils angegeben, das einen unter der Wirkung einer Ventilfeder stehenden und zwischen zwei Endstellungen in axialer Richtung verstellbaren Stößel aufweist. Zur Verstellung des Stößels ist ein mit einem in seiner Achsrichtung bewegbaren Arbeitskolben ausgerüsteter, temperaturabhängiger Dehnkörper am Ventil befestigt, der durch einen an eine Spannungsquelle anschließbaren, elektrischen Widerstand beheizbar ist und dem ein durch den Arbeitskolben des Dehnkörpers bewegbares Stellglied zugeordnet ist. Zwischen dem Widerstand und der Spannungsquelle ist ein durch einen Mikroprozessor zu betätigender, elektrischer Schalter angeordnet und an den Mikroprozessor ist eine mit dem Stellglied gekoppelte Meßeinrichtung elektrisch leitend angeschlossen, die von der Position des Stellgliedes abhängige elektrische Spannungswerte an den Mikroprozessor liefert. Die Meßeinrichtung weist ein feststehendes, lineares CCD-Array (25) auf, das eine mit einer Vielzahl von Pixeln bestückte Oberseite und eine Unterseite hat, an der elektrische Spannungswerte abgreifbar sind, deren Größe von der Intensität von auf die Pixel fallendem Licht abhängig ist, und das mit dem Mikroprozessor verbunden ist. Mit dem Stellglied ist eine über der Oberseite des CCD-Arrays (25) bewegbare Abdeckung (24) verbunden, deren Abmessungen klein sind im Verhältnis zu den Abmessungen des CCD-Arrays (25), durch welche in Abhängigkeit von der Position des Stellgliedes eine der Form der Abdeckung (24) entsprechende Anzahl von Pixeln des CCD-Arrays (25) abgedeckt oder belichtet ist.
