摘要:
A wearable device may include a sensor system capable of obtaining physiological from a user's body. Some wearable devices may include a substance delivery system. A sensor system of a wearable device may include at least one “bio-assurance sensor” capable of obtaining biometric data that may be used to identify a user. For example, the bio-assurance sensor may be used to ensure that the wearable device is not removed from the user's body and/or placed on or in another user's body. In some examples, the wearable device may be used with a second device, such as a smart phone, that includes at least one “authentication sensor,” such as a fingerprint sensor, that also may be used to identify a user. However, in some implementations the wearable device may include at least one authentication sensor.

A media-playback device acquires a heart rate, selects a song with a first tempo, and initiates playback of the song. The song meets a set of qualification criteria and the first tempo is based on the heart rate, such as being equal to or less than the heart rate. The media-playback device also initiates playback of a binaural beat at a first frequency. Over a period of time, the binaural beat's first frequency is changed to a second frequency. Over the period of time, the first tempo can also be changed to a second tempo, where the second tempo is slower than the first tempo.

Provided is a congestive heart failure therapy device that applies a positive pressure within an optimal range depending on the condition of a congestive heart failure (CHF) patient. Provided is a positive pressure therapy device for congestive heart failure patients, comprising: a pressure raising unit configured to raise the pressure of air, or a gas mixture of air and other gases, to a positive pressure; an introducing unit configured to introduce the air or the gas mixture set to a positive pressure into the airways of the patient; and a blood oxygen level measurement unit configured to measure the blood oxygen level of the patient, a blood flow rate measuring unit configured to measure a blood flow rate of the patient, or a cardiac output measuring unit configured to measure a cardiac output of the patient. A control unit monitors the blood oxygen level, the blood flow rate or the cardiac output and, if the value thereof is less than or equal to a fixed value, the control unit determines that the positive pressure being applied is not suitable and controls the pressure raising unit to change the positive pressure value. By controlling the pressure raising unit while monitoring the blood oxygen level, the blood flow rate or the cardiac output, the positive pressure can be applied within an optimal range based on the preload state of the congestive heart failure patient.
