The attachment structure allows for infinite variation of the angle of incidence between the select axis and the plane of the rotor within a defined range. Attachment bolts (64) secure the caliper (12) to the frame (16) with a select angle of incidence between the select axis and the plane of the rotor.

The shank of the screw also has a clearance portion between the threaded portion and the head. The screw is threadably engaged with one of the first or second threaded bores such that the head abuts the arm opposite the threaded engagement. The clearance portion has an outer diameter sized to clear the tips of the threads of the threaded bores and a length at least equal to the axial length of each threaded bore. Preferably the axial length of the clearance portion exceeds the axial length of each threaded bore.
