摘要: A controller controls the number of the heat source units to be operated and an amount of the heat-transfer medium which flows to the load side in accordance with required capability from the load side. The controller detects the flow rate of the heat-transfer medium flowing to the load side, and controls an amount of the heat-transfer medium which bypass flowing to the load side in accordance with the detected flow rate. The controller divides the detected flow rate and allocates the divided flow rate to each of the heat source units in operation, thereby controlling a power of the pump in each of the heat source units in operation in accordance with the allocated amount.

An ejector (38) has a primary inlet (40) coupled to the heat rejection heat exchanger to receive refrigerant, a secondary inlet (42), and an outlet (44). A separator (48) has an inlet (50) coupled to the outlet of the ejector to receive refrigerant from the ejector, a gas outlet (54), and a liquid outlet (52). One or more valves (244, 246, 248, 250) are positioned to allow switching of the system between first and second modes. In the first mode: refrigerant passes from the heat rejection heat exchanger, through the ejector primary inlet, out the ejector outlet, to the separator; a first flow from the separator gas outlet passes through the compressor to the heat rejection heat exchanger; and a second flow from the separator liquid outlet passes through a heat absorption heat exchanger (64) and through the ejector secondary port. In the second mode: refrigerant passes from the heat rejection heat exchanger to the separator; a first flow from the separator gas outlet passes to the compressor; and a second flow from the separator liquid outlet passes through the heat absorption heat exchanger to the compressor.

The refrigerant vapor compression system includes a compression device, a refrigerant heat rejection heat exchanger and a refrigerant heat absorption heat exchanger disposed in a primary refrigerant circuit, and a compression device unload circuit in parallel refrigerant flow relationship with the primary refrigerant circuit. At full load, the primary refrigerant circuit is open, but the unload circuit is closed. To modulate capacity, a controller alternates operation between a first cycle for a first period of time wherein the primary circuit is open and the unload circuit is closed and a second cycle for a second period of time wherein the primary circuit is closed and the unload circuit is open.

摘要: A method and apparatus are disclosed for controlling dehumidification of an airflow to be conditioned for supply to a climate controlled space. The airflow to be conditioned is passed over a plurality of refrigerant conveying conduits of an evaporator of a refrigerant vapor compression thereby cooling the airflow. A controller operates the refrigeration vapor compression system to maintain the airflow at a set point air temperature indicative of a desired temperature within the climate controlled space. The controller also adjusts an evaporator expansion device for controlling the flow of refrigerant through the evaporator so as to reduce the temperature of the refrigerant within the refrigerant conveying conduits of the evaporator whenever further dehumidification of the air flow to be conditioned is desired.

摘要: A heat pump is provided having a first heat exchanger and a second heat exchanger. A compressor is fluidly coupled to the first heat exchanger and the second heat exchanger. A reversing valve is fluidly coupled between the first heat exchanger and the second heat exchanger. The reversing valve is adapted to flow of a refrigerant from the compressor to the first heat exchanger during heating mode and to the second heat exchanger during a cooling mode. A thermal expansion valve is positioned between the first heat exchanger and the second heat exchanger. An electronic expansion valve is positioned between the first heat exchanger and the second heat exchanger. A controller is electrically coupled to operate the electronic expansion valve between a fully open, a fully closed and a modulated position depending on the operation of the compressor.
