A tip or applicator is connected outside the reservoir and is in flow communication with an absorbent transfer member, which member sits in the reservoir and can absorb the drug solution and convey it to the tip. The arrangement is such that the drug solution is only able to leave the reservoir when contact is made between the tip and a solid surface, such as the body to be treated. On such contact a steady stream of drug solution can be applied to the solid surface by movement of the tip on the surface. The drug dispenser is designed to be used as a small hand-held unit.

The equipment comprises a projector for projecting a modulated beam of electromagnetic radiation towards a target in response to the operation of a trigger. The target has a reflective surface operable to reflect the beam back along a path substantially parallel to the incident beam irrespective of the angle of incidence of the beam. The reflected beam is detected by a receiver which includes means for signaling the reception of a reflected beam as a "hit".
Optionally provision is made to cater for differences which may arise owing to the different nature of the radiation beam and the projectile which it is to simulate
The equipment may include a score unit comprising a signal processor and visual display means. The detection of a reflected beam is radiated to a detector connected to the signal processor and the "hit" is displayed on the visual display means as well or instead of indication at the receiver.

Advan- tageouslythe reinforcement is removed, for example by melting, during laying to the surface.
The use of the reinforcement in the marking holds the marking together in the event of cracing or shattering and during handling and it enables sections of marking to be folded for packing and unfolded and laid with ease on arrival at the marking site.

The light source (11), the fan motor (14), and the filter (12) are all disposed in the primary air flow so created.
The device may be of a modular construction and is preferably separated into a lighting housing for the light source (11) and a fan housing for the fan (14). Advantageously the electrical connections are made in the fan housing so that they cannot inadvertently be touched.

Where the transducer is a differential transducer the second side thereof is connected to the port 24 so that the pressure readings are compared in each case with the ambient pressure reading, and the transducer offset can be determined and catered for in calculations made from the readings.
A data processing system 25 with a memory 26 is provided for analysing the readings and making the required calculations of liquid depth and, by using internal look-up calibration tables, those of volume and weight. The data processing system may also serve to control the switching mechanism 21,22. The specific gravity of the contents can be calculated from the pressure readings and the known vertical separation and stored for use when the contents approaches, or falls below, the upper sensor 11.

The mechanism comprises a pillar 23 mounted to the vehicle within the compartment at two spaced positions, preferably at the top and bottom of the pillar. A steering arm 26 fixed to the pillar is movable to rotate the pillar 23 about its own axis. A collar 22 is slidably mounted on the pillar 23 but rotatable with the pillar. The collar 22 carries wheel forks 21 on which a pair of wheels is mounted on stub axles. The wheels are turned by rotation of the collar as a result of the steering action on the pillar, and their height is altered by raising and lowering the position of the collar on the pillar. The mechanism is applicable for use in an amphibious craft.

The second locking mechanism comprises a blind gear mounted co-axially with the central gear wheel and means for moving the gears along the axis to select the central or blind gear to open or lock the first locking mechanism.

摘要： A wheelbarrow has a single wheel mounted to a foldable body having carrying handles and legs. The body has walls and is defined by a frame which is freely pivotable between an open erected position in which it supports the walls and a storage position. At least two opposed walls of the body are attached to the frame at one edge only and are pivotable from a substantially upright position in which they hold the frame erect to a position which allows the frame to fold.
The wheel axle is carried by a support which is rotatable with respect to the body to enable the wheel to be rotated to lie substantially parallel to the base of the folded body. In two embodiments described, the support is mounted on a rod which is rotatable with respect to the body through a bracket attached to or integral with the body. A lever attached to the rod at the rear of the body enables the wheel to be rotated from the normal operating position and a latch is provided to lock the lever when the barrow is to be used.
