摘要:
An expendable, stand-alone, off-board Electronic Counter-Measure system, airborne RF decoy aimed to provide airborne platforms with protection against multiple radar-based threats including Air-to-Air and Surface-to-Air missiles both active and semi-active ones. The airborne RF decoy has the mechanical outline of standard chaff and flare decoys and is safely ejected from any platform by pyrotechnic elements. The airborne RF decoy deceives enemy radar-based threats as follows: immediately after its ejection from the protected airborne platform, the decoy activates an energy source, stabilizes its path, acquires illuminating signals and analyzes threat parameters. Then the decoy alters the received signals to generate an authentic false target and transmits a deceiving signal towards the radar threat. The radar threats locks on the decoy and follow its path. Thus the threat course is diverted from the protected airborne platform and a large miss distance of the attacking missile (tens to hundreds of meters) is assured.

Systems for aligning a point of aim with a point of impact for a projectile device are disclosed. Using a superposition device coupled to the projectile device, at least one optical reference point is superposed within a first target area with at least one beam from the superposition device. A position of at least one of the optical reference points is noted. A projectile is expelled from the projectile device at a second target area, while the position of the at least one optical reference point is maintained, to create the point of impact. The point of aim for the projectile device is adjusted to align with the point of impact while the position of the at least one optical reference point is maintained.

A wireless target system unit for a weapon effect simulation system. A radio transmitter and receiver communicates with a control system. A laser receiver is arranged for receiving laser light from an attacking system. The wireless target system unit includes two retro-reflecting prisms arranged to retro-reflect an incident laser light from an attacking system. Each reflecting center of the retro-reflecting prisms and a sensor center of the laser receiver are mounted such that they form an isosceles triangle. The distance between the reflecting center of each retro-reflecting prism and the sensor center of the laser receiver are equal.

In order to form a corresponding cloud with active decoys (1), an antenna (7) and a system-on-chip (SoC) etc. with an integrated sending/receiving unit (2, 3) are preferably imprinted on each said decoy. The design is comparable to an RFID (radio-frequency identification) with the dimensions of approximately one chip card. The antenna (7) is preferably an ultra-broadband antenna.

Aircraft decoy arrangement and method for generating a decoy signal from an aircraft having an isolated decoy. An aircraft receiver detects a threat signal from a threat source targeting the aircraft. An aircraft signal processor produces a decoy relay signal based on the threat signal, where the decoy relay signal frequency is significantly lower than the threat signal frequency and is slowly attenuated through air, the signal processor calibrating the decoy relay signal in accordance with a received test signal to compensate for inaccuracies. An aircraft transmitter transmits the decoy relay signal and an optional reference signal to the decoy, where it is received by a decoy receiver, converted back to a decoy signal by a decoy frequency converter, and transmitted by a decoy transmitter, causing the threat source to detect the decoy signal and lock onto the decoy rather than the aircraft.

A float (4), for a device (1) air-launched into the sea, in particular for a countermeasure, has a casing (6) and a bag (24), which is inflatable by two pressurized-gas cylinders (25) and is located, when inflated, at least partly outside the casing (6); inflation by the cylinders (25) is activated by an inertial mass (27) movable in response to deceleration of the casing (6) caused by immersion of the device (1) into the sea.
