    摘要: A process for producing at least two different propylene polymer grades, in which process the isotacticity of the polymer is changed while keeping the melt flow rate of the polymer at a predetermined level during a transition of production from a first polymer grade to a second. The process is carried out in a polymerization arrangement comprising at least one polymerization reactor, where propylene is polymerized, optionally with comonomers, under polymerization conditions in the presence of hydrogen as a molecular weight controlling agent and a Ziegler-Natta catalyst system. The catalyst system comprises a catalyst component and an external donor. During a transition of production from the first polymer grade to the second, the external donor is changed, but the hydrogen feed is kept at a predetermined level.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method of separating solids from a gas flow in a fluidized catalytic process and to a cyclone assembly suited for use in a fluidized catalytic process. According to the invention, the gas flow of the process carrying the suspended solids is passed into a separation assembly, wherein the solids are separated from the gaseous phase under the effect of the centrifugal force, whereby a multiport cyclone is used as the separation assembly, into which the gas flow to be treated is passed via an inlet nozzle having an axially annular cross section. The use of the multiport cyclone, e.g., in an FCC process give significant advantages in flow dynamics and process engineering over conventional arrangements and generally used single-port cyclones.

    摘要: The present invention concerns a process and an apparatus for continuous polymerisation of olefin monomers in a cascade of polymerisation reactors. According to the process, an olefin monomer is polymerised first in slurry phase in an inert hydrocarbon diluent in at least one loop reactor and then, subsequently, in gas phase in at least one gas phase reactor. According to the invention, a polymer slurry is continuously withdrawn from the loop reactor and optionally concentrated. The concentrated slurry is conducted to a high pressure flash unit in order to remove the remaining fluid phase, and fed to the gas phase reactor. With the process described in this invention, it is possible to produce bimodal polyethylene with good properties. The operation of the process is stable because of the truly continuous operation.

    摘要: The invention concerns a method and a device for determination of the stability or storability of oil. In the method the stability of oil is determined by measuring the intensity of light scattering from the oil surface, when an asphaltene-flocculating liquid is added to the oil sample for determining the stability of the oil. In an advantageous embodiment of the method the intensity of scattered light is directed onto the surface of the oil sample by using a suitable prism. The invention allows implementation of a fully automatically operating analyzer for determining the stability of oil. Using the invention a closed measuring system is brought about that solves the explosion protection problem which is important in oil refining.

    摘要: The invention relates to a process for the treatment of a gas stream obtained from the production of polyolefins and containing unreacted compounds. According to the process, uncondensed compounds are removed from the gas stream and, when so desired, these compounds are directed to further treatment. According to the invention, the uncondensed compounds are separated from the gas stream by membrane separation. Thus the separation of gases is facilitated, since by coupling the membrane system in conjunction with distillation columns the distillation can be carried out at a substantially higher top temperature. By using the membrane system it is possible effectively to remove the lightest gases, which would otherwise accumulate in the process.
